Who says Emma and Neal don’t understand each other? They’re cut from the same cloth. This was the same episode in which Hook tried to “bond” with Emma about knowing what it means to lose hope, and Emma called him on it! She said she saw what he was doing! Now which man does Emma identify with more I wonder, even when that man isn’t around? Hmmmm.
This type of thing is why it infuriates me when people don’t recognise that there were SF moments all through the first half of the season, even before she knew he was actually alive. They were clearly establishing how well these two know each other.
That news about Eion returning makes me happy! Guess he’s been spilling the beans at that Convention in Paris?

That last second before the actual hug, as they’re both going in for it and then SUDDENLY they collide with almost a force behind them—like two magnets you get close enough together that they can’t hold back the attraction any longer.
Belle & Ariel was awesome, as was Belle & Mulan and Belle & Leroy (I need more of this). I really want to see Belle & Neal get to have a relationship (but not romantic cuz no and Rumple’s coming back).
Belle should be bros with everyone. I’ll be bummed if they never bring Ariel back, in part because I wanna see more AriBelle. Please God let Belle and Neal interact in the aftermath of them both losing Rumple.
2) Neal & Hook: Before this season I expected something different than what was shown. Hook’s help in saving Henry accounts for much of the casual rather than antagonistic tone with which Neal has tried to approach Hook (right after cave rescue, then again in Diner) despite present-day squabbles in other scenes, but they really avoided explaining on screen their attitude and history together during their time in NL.
Perhaps it’s my own fault for being disappointed with the CaptainFire stuff we got, because I’d had my hopes up so high. *sigh* I’d really been looking forward to seeing them finally interact, and what we got was mostly a letdown. That’s the main reason I hate the triangle of doom, because it robbed us of deep and meaningful CaptainFire development. MRJ and Colin would OWN it if they gave them some better material to work with.
3)Tink and Regina: Regina needs someone because she just gave up Henry and I do not want her to slide back to darkness. A friend would help, plus Tink might be able to show Regina how to use light magic.
I’ve got everything crossed that Tink will be back. We haven’t seen Regina have an actual friend before, and seeing her have a genuine connection with Tink, to the point where she stuck up for her with Blue, was wonderful.
5) Mo & Belle: He did do something horrible but Rumple still loved Pan who was far worse, and Henry forgave Regina despite the things she did and tried to do. Belle, who is the epitome of forgiveness ought to understand how Mo was beaten physically and thought that Belle was in danger (though he should have listened to her). Was Mo always controlling and terrible to Belle, or was this a desperate attempt to save a daughter from a man he thought a beast? Act of revenge or act of a loving but at-the-end-0f-his-rope father?
THIS. With everyone’s daddy issues being dealt with, it’s fitting for Mo to reappear. The Lumiere info has given me some hope that we might actually be seeing him again.
6) Regina & The Charmings: They treat her as family at times, others they are at war. Where are they now?
Really interested to see how they interact in the second half of the season. Regina can actually empathise with Snow and Charming now that she’s also had to give up a child because of the Curse. Of course, Regina was a major part of the whole Curse mess to start with, but what’s done is done, and I think that the way she’s finally accepted responsibility for what she did, and also accepted Emma as being a presence in Henry’s life, means that she’s accepting her own role in the family. And Snow has always held out hope that Regina might come good one day, so they could reconcile their step parent/child relationship. Actually connecting with Snow and Charming in a real, emotional way, could set the stage for her being willing to give things a go with Robin.
2. Wicked With of the EAST
Going back to the original Oz movie, WWE was the sister of the WWW We never see anything other than her striped ankle socks and ruby slippers in the movie because Dorothy and her house drop in on her :-/ I am inclined to believe it is the witch of the East because somehow Blue has acquired her wand. Either she took it away during a confrontation, or it was brought to her postmortem. Anymahoo, just my fun little theory, building on what others have posted here.
“The Blue Fairy exiled her, but before she did, she took her wand.” Perhaps Blue took her wand, and exiled her to Oz, where she instead gained witchy powers, and became the WWE. Blue heard of this, and wanting to get rid of her for good, arranged for a house to be dropped on her. (This theory sort of assumes that Glinda is Sneaky, and is mashed up with Sneaky Fairy.)

Speaking of, it’s always been stuck in my head that the Oz story had an Em(ily) with a Henry, and we have an Em(ma) with a Henry. Might mean absolutely nothing, but it’s something I’ve always thought was sort of curious.

Oooohh, ding ding ding! This makes me think that KFC’s spec about this fitting into the t-word when Snow was heavily pregnant with Emma is right on the money.
. We think Rapunzel’s father has also been cast. Rapunzel and her father have been working with: Lana, Josh, Emilie and Sean.

If flashbacks it totally would make sense that at one point we saw Very Pregnant Snow, and maybe Charming heard of something that might help beat the curse so he rode out to a tower to get a magical thing that turned out to be a person, this young girl with magic hair.
So then they couldn’ t use the “thing” the way they’d hoped to block the curse because they wouldn’t kill her and that parallel some other thing happening present day?
I like this. Snow being uber pregnant would allow them to give Ginny a lighter schedule and would allow them to focus on Charming as more of an individual when he goes off adventuring on his own.
That “Or are we?” caption on the pic of the sign is gonna make my head hurt. Are they just being random, or are they being cryptic? If it’s the latter, then is the SB in the promo not actually SB as we previously knew it?
I think SB is in the EF. The town fell on the WWW sister and now she is mad!
I was saying a little while back that I could see the endgame for the whole show being the whole of SB picked up and dumped in FTL, and it would become their new capital city of sorts, and they’d branch out from there to rebuild FTL. I don’t think that’s happening at the moment though, because the promo shows Snow saying “We’re back” when they’ve reverted to the fairytale selves, and they’re surrounded by forest. The footage of SB still looks like same old SB, with people looking like their modern day selves.
