If we are going to see Oz then instead of Evil Glinda, how about the Wicked Witch of the West? That would be a major role, since she’s so iconic.
But shouldn’t she be dead in present day, assuming that whole traditional story went down some time before Jefferson visited Oz to find that the slippers had moved on?

Considering she’s meant to be someone super bad, I think she’s a decent candidate for the witch in the title of 313, which makes me wanna join TeamEvilGlinda.
Well it doesn’t sound like she’ll actually be IN 311, they’re just gonna torment us with a promo after the end credits of 311, and we’ll get a bunch of really quick, out of context shots of her which will cause us all to lose our ever loving minds!!
This is why I’m inclined to think 314 is a Snowing episode. I think Rapunzel is in the past and Snow tries to bust her out of her tower during her bandit years, cause who would understand being hunted and trapped by an evil witch better than Snow?
If Rapunzel is being held by Regina, then that would be a pretty good fit. We’ve already had one story this season where Snow filled the role of the Prince though, which I guess could either be foreshadowing, or it could be something they wouldn’t wanna do again.
Along the lines of Rapunzel being held by Maleficent and Phillip being from her kingdom, I was thinking that perhaps he’s a knight who’s sent to save Princess Rapunzel, and during that process, maybe he discovers something that can help break the curse that Aurora’s mother has been put under, (though we don’t know where on the t-word that was supposed to have happened). So Phillip helps to save Aurora’s mother, after which Aurora falls in love with him, and then Maleficent curses Aurora as well because she hates her family, and as an added bonus it’s a revenge plot against Phillip as well.
(Unfortunately, all of this would involve a fair bit of shooting for Kristen, and considering they haven’t been able to get her to shoot even one scene in forever, it’s highly unlikely. But my imagination don’t care about scheduling logistics. :-P)
The thing that makes me doubt that we’re gonna get the Neal one officially released is that those pics were NL specific, and even though the final 2 eps of this half of the season are still tied to NL, they’re not IN NL, so really, the time has passed to be releasing new NL-related promo pics.

Ya know I’ve always thought they Prince Phillip was from Rapunzels kingdom. They sun emblem from is chest plate seems like the symbol of her kingdom. Screenshots anyone?
Have been thinking a bit more about the Maleficent/Gothel potential, and the timing of it could maybe make sense?

She didn’t specify a destination, but it was around the time they’d have been about to start shooting 313. So maybe the “Witch Hunt” title could refer to Maleficent, and we might get more of Aurora’s backstory? Kristen Bauer van Straten seems to have been in LA as of a day ago though, so that doesn’t really work, unless she’s just not needed to shoot much stuff. Anyway, if they had a story like that for 313, then it could potentially lead into a Rapunzel/Maleficent story for 314.I dunno, it’s all just crackpot speculation really, based off how Maleficent’s castle has some epic towers, and she traditionally screwed up the life of a young girl, and Phillip’s armour resembles the symbol of Rapunzel’s kingdom from Tangled, so maybe it all ties together somehow where he met Aurora through some mutual Maleficent dramas.
She wears the same outfit when she’s hit by the fork and when she takes Ariel’s voice, so it seems strange to say she changed clothes to visit Rumple in between :/ Maybe she does go after seeing them in the mirror?
Costume-wise, that would make the most sense. But she looks in the mirror and becomes Ursula all in the same night, right? And she goes to see Rumple when there’s daylight streaming in the window.
Just throwing this out there: In Into The Woods, Rapunzels hair was going to be used in a potion to cure the witch of her ugliness. In Tangled, Rapunzels hair actually has healing powers. Maybe Rapunzels role will be to have her hair be used as a cure? To make a potion?
Or perhaps her tears? I just read the Grimm version that RG linked to, and Rapunzel’s tears cure the Prince of his blindness, and they kept the healing tears bit in Tangled, though they used it differently. We’ve seen tears have magical properties before, but only when two people’s were mixed together. Maybe Rapunzel’s tears have a unique power.
It could be fun to see Maleficent in the Gothel role. They designed her castle to look quite tower-ish.
Could that be Jafar in disguise as her father? Maybe possessing him? Maybe Jafar as his heart and is making him do it?
This seems likely IMO. It’s either that or Dad has been keeping a really big secret that he knows how to summon dragons. If it flew down from Jafar’s floating island, then chances are, Dad’s being controlled by Jafar.
