FLYING SHIPS INDEED!!!! What land possibly has a Navy that FLIES? And why?
I’m wondering where in the t-word that flying ship is gonna fit. Initially I was like, “YoungNavyManKillian was on a flying ship, WHAT?!” Then I got to wondering if this ep might also include a flashback to how Hook got out of NL previously, in which case, that could maybe be where the flying ship scene fits.
[adrotate group="5"]Perhaps Pan had foreseen that Killian would be the one to take Milah away, which contributed to Rumple going dark, which led to Bae leaving FTL and ending up in NL.
I’d guess at least a month on the ship, and then they obviously interacted on land too, considering Hook knew where the cave was.

I suspect these two things are probably linked. As in, Pan makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Killian’s second in command but wants his own ship, and Pan provides one for him. “You want command of a ship? How about a pretty enchanted one? All you’ve gotta do is stage one little mutiny.” Or something along those lines. Perhaps?
Yes, it’s interesting that they’ve made his uniform similar to Eric’s!

I’m assuming he’s supposed to be 20ish here, and it’s right before he transforms from sailor to pirate.
Was surprised to see him facing off with Pan back then, but I LOVE that they’re gonna take the Hook/Pan story back that far, to before Hook was even a pirate.
Raise your hand if you believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that Rumple and PP are brothers.

I’ve been on TeamBrothers for a while now and after this ep, if it turns out they’re not brothers, I’ll be seriously surprised.

Not like this is news to us, but was great to have it confirmed, even if JMo went and BROKE MY HEART in the process of revealing it!!
I know some people are already feeling like, “Oh so it was pre-destined all those years ago and she knew it,” so if she knows who he is first and then falls in love with him, it’d sorta feel like she was talking herself into fulfilling an obligation, as opposed to genuinely falling in love. Even as someone who has shipped it since it was pure crack, I think it’d make the whole storyline less satisfying.
What would make the storyline fun is if we the audience are aware of who he is, but Regina has no clue. We can watch him chip away at her walls and see her reluctantly considering taking the chance of letting herself fall in love again. Then when she finally does give in, and she’s tearing his shirt off for the first time ever, she’ll see the tattoo and be all O_______O “It’s you?!”
