ParticipantThey’ve been using “wizard” to promote Rumple this season. Think it’s been used in a couple different promos, but here’s one of them…

A Pirate
A Wizard
A Queen
A Knight
A SaviourJosh has regurgitated it in pretty much every interview, (some others have said it too, but I swear it seems like he says it in every interview, and God love him I reached the point where it made me wanna slap him :-P).

ParticipantI feel the RQ has smaller ambition so she wants to bring back someone from the dead. In keeping with the Chess theme, you can bring back any piece if a pawn reaches the other side –it is not just promoting to a Queen. Jafar wants to restart the game.
Ooooh. Oooooh. I like it! If she is Anastasia, does she think the Knave is dead? He hasn’t been in WL for 28 (Cursed) years.
I know we’re tossing around RQ being Knave’s Anastasia, (and I think it’s a valid theory), but what if we go back to the other theory about RQ being Grace’s mother? Perhaps she wants to go back and change history so she never ends up separated from Jefferson and their daughter?
Also interesting to note: genies and silver do not mix (the silver bars burned Cyrus’ arm in the cage, it’s why he couldn’t escape even using his genie powers).
Not sure how that fits into everything, but it is a genie weakness that somehow blocks his magic.
I loved how he reached through the bars of the cage to let the origami crane fly away, even though it was obviously causing him agony.

ParticipantI think shortenting it to just “Awfully Big Adventure” would be good. For most non-Pan fans they wouldn’t get that its referring to death, and probably think it means lots of action. But for Pan fans we know…. That someone is going to bite the dust!
Is it sick that I’m now hoping that’s exactly what the ep is called, and that Pan actually does get the line, “To die would be an awfully big adventure,” right before he actually dies?

ParticipantInteresting points about Emma’s characterisation, KFC. It’d be really interesting if they flip that trope at the last moment and have Emma be the flirtatious heartbreaker instead.
I know that is the last thing CSers want to hear. I agree that, for “Killian” he’s from a different mindset, and he is not thinking of himself as being her “Mr. Right Now” instead of “Mr. Right.” The thought has struck me though, depending on the context of the scene and whether or not he’s told her certain things, and they know certain things about each other before it happens: They are both reverting to their pasts.
Context will be vital when it comes to this kiss. Who knows what about what and when it happens will be interesting to see, and will impact what the kiss means and if it’s only a one off.
It seems pretty evident from that 304 sneak peek that there are things Emma still doesn’t know, which are vital pieces of info that could well change how she sees Hook, which is probably why he hasn’t revealed them. She doesn’t appear to have put it together yet that Hook’s Milah = Nealfire’s mother. And she’s also unaware that Hook handed Bae over to the Lost Ones. She’s been learning what a demon, (Hook’s own description) Pan is, how dangerous he is, so how will she react when she learns that Hook handed young Bae over, right into Pan’s hands? It won’t just be the historical facts that she has to consider, but also the fact that Hook has had the opportunity to reveal these things, she’s straight up asked him about how he knew Bae, and he’s been evasive about it all, (which leads me to believe that she likely still won’t know these things when the kiss happens). She’s been starting to trust him, (trust and lack thereof is a big dynamic of their relationship), because he’s helping to find Henry, but she’s eventually gonna realise that he’s basically been lying to her by omission.
In Hook’s defence, I don’t think he’s just been evasive because he’s being a douche about it, I think the reason he’s been evasive is because he is starting to actually feel something for her, and knows that the truth could severely damage his chances, so he’s stuck in a bit of a crap situation. I’m actually gonna feel bad for him if/when Emma tells him where to go after Neal’s back and the whole truth finally comes out, because he’s been tentatively getting his hopes up, and then she’s gonna kiss him, and then he might end up getting the shaft very soon after.

ParticipantLove the Darth Vader one! 😆
Also love the, “PURPLE = FLASHBACK” sign stuck on the wall in the top right corner of the whiteboard pic. 😉

ParticipantWhich is exactly why I put “saved” in quotes. 😆

ParticipantDidn’t Peter Pan say, that by the time they find Henry, he won’t want to come back with them? so probably in 3×09, they will physically save him, but the question remains, will he want to be saved?
Excellent point! They might well actually get to him in this ep, but that doesn’t mean they’ll get through to him in this ep.
Meanwhile, back in our world, baby Henry is being “saved” from being an orphan.

ParticipantIf anyone needs me during the scenes where the Shadow speaks, I’ll be hiding under the desk. Creepy perfect casting is creepy perfect.
