I guess Cylice did fall in love pretty quickly. I don’t find them a super compelling couple yet, but I do get some serious warm and fuzzies for them, and Cyrus is so totally charming, I can see why Alice fell for him quickly.
Ah, this little vid made me wanna weep. “Home.” (Has a few seconds of sneak peek footage, so guess there should be a spoiler warning.)
Casting of the Tweedles isn’t really a spoiler any more, because they’re the two guys who have been seen as RQ’s footmen. I wouldn’t have picked it, because they look nothing like the Tweedles traditionally do, but Jafar had a line to RQ about her Tweedles sweeping up, right before we saw them starting to sweep up the ashes of all the people Jafar made go *poof*. I believe they were also the ones helping her out of her carriage in the Pilot, too.
Anyway, about that Doctor, and I’d love to see him again. He reminded me a bit of Uncle Fester. I’d originally wondered if he had knowledge of WL from his quick scene with Alice’s father back when she was a little girl, but he seemed genuinely surprised that the Rabbit existed.
Oh, and Tinkerbell refers to Regina as a Queen “in the Enchanted Forest.” Does that mean the place with all the flowers isn’t part of the Enchanted Forest?
I’m thinking it’s probably some big garden in the sky. Maybe it’s the show’s version of Pixie Hollow? I know that that’s supposed to be in NL, but perhaps in Once, it’s just a totally separate land where Fairies live that exists between other worlds?
I like the idea that Jafar wants to be able to change magic so he can bring someone back from the dead. The stakes must be high for him, considering the lengths he’s going to, and wanting to be able to bring back a dead loved one, there are pretty much no higher stakes than that.
To add to my Anastasia Tremaine theory, keep in mind that Cinderella/Ashley made a cameo in the pilot. Her cameo could have been foreshadowing that her family is involved with Wonderland’s story.
Nice! Would certainly explain why Cinderella was seen in the pilot, because she seemed like a really random choice.
How does Silvermist fit into this history with Will and Anastasia? She seemed personally slighted by him, but she also had knowledge of Anastasia. I guess if she does end up being RQ, then that’s a relationship that everyone would know about. Did Will just get around a lot before and/or after his relationship with Anastasia, and Silvermist is one in a long line of slighted lovers?
Knave of Hearts was employed by the QoH, so if Anastasia is RQ, maybe Will screwed over QoH somehow to help his girlfriend in a power play, and then when she’d won, she tossed him aside?
