First, Sebastian Stan is finished filming Captain America: Winter Soldier and has nothing scheduled for another film (From IMDB). Wouldn’t he want to spend some time with his girlfriend, Jennifer Morrison. This is what I would do.
Whatever he’s up to that would prevent him being on the show, I dunno the specifics of, but Jane Espenson did say this the other day at DragonCon:
They want Sebastian Stan back. Miss Espenson said he was probably the only actor in history to get his own spin off and not be able to be in it. She did say that if they can get him back this season, it would be late in the season because of scheduling.

But considering the timing of 306, airing not long after TLM is re-released on DVD/BluRay, they’re gonna potentially have new viewers who tune in just to see Ariel, so it’s good marketing sense to have her first ep showing iconic stuff from the original movie. “Surprise, she’s preggo with the future Captain Hook,” is likely to alienate any potential new viewers. Get ’em drawn into the show first, and then start messing with the story they know and love. Even leaving potential new viewers out of consideration, regular viewers would still probably prefer to see those iconic moments as the introduction to Once’s version, because we’ve been waiting so bloody long for Ariel to be on the show. Dunno how they could have her interact with the JR6 in present day, without revealing it if there’s some familial connection between Hook and Ariel right off the bat.
That dress Regina’s wearing is fabulous! I’m gonna guess it’s from a 303 flashback, because I’m gonna guess that Mark Isham doesn’t compose the score for an ep until after it’s been edited together, and I’d guess 303 has probably been put together by now.
Oh, I remember his Supernatural ep! He came back in time and met Sam and Dean and it’s how they introduced the whole Men of Letters storyline.

Don’t see it personally. OUAT may be able to put their own spin where certain characters can mesh up with another but I don’t see Disney allowing one of their biggest cash cows (just in time for the blue ray release) to have been pregnant with Captain Hook. The only reason they allowed the Snow White/Emma loophole was because Emma isn’t an established Disney/Literary character and she’s the female lead of the show. Which brings the other obvious point that would undermine the show’s premise by taking away Emma’s unique journey and cutting and pasting it to a supporting character to appease a selective shipper group.
It’ll be more interesting to see who ends up playing Liam though.

Firstly, the resemblance, I don’t see it. All I see is that they have completely differently shaped noses (Gil’s is much wider, Colin’s is longer) and mouths (Gil’s is short with really wavy lips, Colin’s is longer and straighter).
As for making Ariel pregnant with Hook, like KFC said, Disney did make Ariel a mother…but not until after her initial story was told. As of right now, we don’t know how many eps she’ll be in, but no matter the number, I doubt they’d jump to her being pregnant the first time we see her, when there’s so much else to her story, things that are more iconic parts of her story, to be told first. I’m thinking we’ll be seeing her mostly in present day. 306 will have her flashbacks, but she probably won’t feature in other ep’s flashbacks as well, so there’s likely no situation in the immediate future where they’d be showing her pregnant. 306 will probably have stuff like her saving Eric from drowning, and how she became human.
As for who plays Liam, I’m really interested in that, because I’m thinking he very likely will be a Colin lookalike.
@red whale and fishhookI love the fact that the person who will play Prince Eric is named Gil. It’s pretty ironic since Prince Eric falls in love with a mermaid and gills are fish organs.

We just need Emma to get herself put under a sleeping curse. TLK never lies, and is the only way to resolve the triangle. 😉
Seriously though, I’m cautiously optimistic that the storyline won’t suck, be boring, or too drawn out. Once all 3 of them are back in the same world, and Hook sees that Neal and Emma still love each other, I don’t imagine there being a whole lot of spiteful, fighting, triangle-ish stuff. Hook will be trying to repair his own relationship with Neal as well, which will impact his actions. I think they’ll all be mature enough to let everything work out, and I don’t think Hook and Emma’s relationship will be the type of situation where they’ve declared undying love for each other or anything, so they’ll be able to adjust just fine while still maintaining their friendship. That’s what I’m hoping for, anyway.
“She’s in a few,” sounds like she’s not in the long term plan, so I’d guess she stays in NL when the JR leaves. Was about to say that maybe she’ll die, but I dunno that Disney would let them kill off Tink.
So, she is a young FGM, perhaps to LEO’s family. That explains why she does not help Eva or Regina previously. After Eva dies, she feels bad she did not help his previous wife ( but it was poison, so not magic, so not a situation they could touch). And she isn’t that responsible to come without being called. So she tries to do better and befriends Regina this time. Regina is having a hard time, as no one in the village really likes her as they resent a new Queen and compare her to Eva.
Tink’s friendship is like a life-line. Someone she can talk to about all she is facing and struggling against, and then Rumple banishes Tink to NL. Regina falls even further into darkness.

Remember when hook broke into reginas palace, and when regina confronted him she told him that she knew why he had come from neverland? Well.. who told her and how would she know he came from NL? Has tink maybe been around this whole time and we just never saw her??

Indeed. And on both sides of the “triangle”. Nothing is gonna be resolved either way in the immediate future. They’re gonna tear everyone apart with conflicting FEELS for a while yet.
I don’t think Tink is anyone’s fairy Godmother she is just a fairy like the BF was in my opinion.
All the fairies we have seen have had the jellyfish dress. Varying embellishments and colours, but all the jellyfish design, like Blue’s. When that swarm of fairies attacked George’s castle, it was jellyfish everywhere. The only exception has been Ella’s FGM. And now also Tink. Unless and until we see other large populations of fairies without the jellyfish dress, I think that the only fairies who get to be distinguished with a non-jellyfish costume, are FGMs.
Everyone’s thinking that it’s either Blue or Regina that banished her to Neverland. I personally think it’ll turn out to be Cora.
I don’t have a theory why yet, but it seems like something Cora would do.
Totally something Cora would do if Tink was starting to get in Regina’s ear. No one is allowed to tell Regina what to do if they’re not Cora, so Tink would have to be removed.
