Maybe it’s a tree to get to the underground home? It is hollow. We know we’ve got little huts on set, but maybe PP himself still lives underground?

The Lost Boys build the Wendy house here…[snip]…and there is a small Nevertree in the middle of the large room that grows every day. Peter and the children use it as a table to eat on, then they cut it when it has grown too large. In Peter Pan in Scarlet, Peter lets the Nevertree grow too large, and it grows out of the roof. It then picks up the Wendy House and lifts it into the air.
(Peter Pan in Scarlet wasn’t written by Barrie, but is an official sequel to Peter and Wendy. Dunno if they’d have free reign to lift stuff from that publication or not, but now I kinda wanna see Wendy stuck living in a tree house at the top of that thing.)

1) One does not kill Robert Carlyle when RC has agreed to be on your show and is largely responsible for making it what it is.
Agreed, I’m not worried about Rumple being killed off. From day one, both Rumple and Robert have been vital to the show, and they’ll remain that way.
2) I doubt Rumple will return to full on Dark One in NL present day. That’s asking a lot of RC.
I’m thinking that if he does go all 100% Dark One that it will only happen if there’s some massive, magical showdown that essentially draws the Dark One out of him as he’s being “undone”. Even if he’s thinking and acting like the Dark One in other NL eps, I don’t think it would be necessary to see him looking as his old self. But a scene where something is happening to him that’s taking that power away from him could be really cool if we see him morphing from Mr Gold, to the Dark One as part of the process, showing how that other persona has been buried just under the surface all this time, and now it’s being pulled out through his flesh, against its will.
3) I fully expect Hook and Emma to talk about Neal. I also expect that when that happens, it will flahsback to Hook trying to rescue Bae.
Really hope that ends up being the case!
4) I think we will get glimpses of mermaids before Ariel makes her big appearance but I have to wonder if she’ll be bigger in part 2 of the season.
Wouldn’t surprise me if we’re introduced to mermaids before we meet Ariel. They may well want to establish what they’re generally like, reinforce what we’ve already seen Hook imply about them being dangerous, and keep us waiting to see what Ariel is like. Then BAM, at some point we see a redhead and we all flail because “OMG FINALLY!”

Thanks for the info and the pic. That’s unfortunate that someone broke into the studio. I’m rabid for spoilers, and wish they were doing more outdoor shooting because spoiler pics are one of my fave things ever, but if they’re shooting behind closed doors, it’s stupid to try and violate that. No good can come from it.
That Zach guy doing the interviews is so sweet. It’s how most of us would react if we got to interview them, “I’m sorry, I’m just seriously having a fanboy/girl moment right now.” 😆 JMo’s interview in particular was really wonderful!
Given that we know Neal and MAP aren’t the central story of 301-304, I’d wager that MAP won’t be back until 305 at least. Possibly longer if 305-306 turns our to be Hook and Belle.
Probably a safe bet. I just hope that whenever Jamie and Julian are back on set, Sarah is too, coz the fact she left town several days before they seem to have has me somewhat paranoid about Aurora’s fate.
It sounds as though maybe they haven’t split up except for Rumple! He’s the only one who wasn’t there with them for the lost boys scene…must have gone out on his own.

Glad to hear Robbie Kay has been confirmed as Peter Pan. Hopefully he’ll have good chemistry with Freya so I can hopefully see Peter and Wendy end up together at last!
It would be fun if they could end up together, and I’d love to see Wendy still around in present day. I’ve wondered if perhaps she was taken back to NL and not allowed to leave again if she did start searching for Bae. Several 100 years making a home for herself in NL could either make her despise PP for keeping her there, or could make her sympathetic towards him the more she’s learned about him and interacted with him. They could potentially be Rumbelle V2.0.
I was hoping of someone with a more Peter Panish look. But that is because I have a different view of PPs look.
I reckon if you compare him to the Disney animated version, he looks pretty much exactly like what that animated version would look like if he were a real person. Of course, everyone has their own interpretation of how any character will look, but if they were trying for matchy matchy with the Disney version, they nailed it IMO.
If I didn’t know that the actor who plays Felix is 26, I’d have guessed the character was about 18. Robbie Kay is 17.
You know, there’s that old saying about picturing your audience naked to help if you are feeling jittery about public speaking? I laugh thinking about Robbie Kay watching Full Monty to prepare for his role. He just might be able to pull off the acting here after all, and not be intimidated in the least.
