This is shot from a different angle than the other vid of the whole Panel, and there’s a cute Rob and Emilie moment around the 2:30 mark that you couldn’t see in the other version:

I’m starting to like that theory that maybe Rumple’s “meeting” with Belle may be her appearing as Tink. Though I still think that Tink herself will have her own identity. I’m thinking more of like a shape shifting fairy kinda thing. And then when Rumple most needs something to believe in, Tink will be there as Belle. Perhaps?
Eddy: “The first part of the season is very heavily focused on NL and the ship, and we will be flashing back to character’s lives. But we’re not gonna see SB for the first few. But we are eventually going to see it and see how it ties in and what happens to everyone who was left behind.”
Wish they’d confirmed at CC if Robbie is playing PP, coz I wanna get all excited about Henry having scenes with PP right now.
Started to comment on this stuff but then realised it fit in with another thread’s discussion, so posted over there instead:
rumbelledearie posted a couple of Robert interviews in another thread, and I got a bit rambly and the post ended up being suited to this current discussion, so I figured I’d post my thoughts here instead of there. Ā First, here’s the interview:
He must have been told a rough outline of the immediate future storylines, because he says it’s ep3 where we’re gonna see “veryĀ dark” Rumple emerge. Ā So I think any connection he has to Belle will probably have to come after that, because as he says earlier in the interview, the further he is from Belle, the worse off he (and everyone else) is. Ā If he’d had contact with Belle in the 1st 2 eps, he woudn’t be “very dark” in ep3.
That ep will be Regina centric, which brought me back to thinking about the comments I made about that in my previous post here about if we might be re-visiting Regina’s mermaid problem. Ā That mermaid problem scene was when she told Rumple about Belle being dead. Ā So if we might flashback to that time in FTL and see him in his freshly Belle-less “very dark” mindset, it could work well also showing him in present day NL in his freshly Belle-less “very dark” mindset.
Sorta sounds like maybe he’ll leave the JR and go off on his own little suicide mission instead of trying to work with everyone else.
We know ep4 is Rumple centric. Ā So maybe he can hit rock bottom in ep3 and then start to see the light a bit in ep4 when Belle comes back into play somehow in the ep that will focus on him, and that’s when we’ll get this mystery “meeting” that Rumbelle are gonna have in NL.
It was when everyone was talking about Sophie resembling Grace that I got on the RQ = Grace’s mother kick because I thought Grace looked more like the actress playing RQ rather than the one playing Alice.
A good point but Iām still not convinced. Youāre right, ālostā could mean anything but it is the ābecause of my workā bit that is bothering me. We know Jefferson travelled between realms using his hat, for whatever business that was his work, so why did travelling between realms cause him to lose Graceās mother? I think Graceās mother was an innocent and had nothing to do with realm jumping. We know Jefferson gave up realm jumping to raise Grace which suggests that her mother wasnāt around to do it herself. Perhaps someone Jefferson crossed on his travels came seeking revenge and that caused Jefferson to lose Graceās mother.
One theory I’ve seen discussed a bit is that Grace’s mother was Jefferson’s +1 for hat travelling.
So, take the situation where Jefferson went to get Frankenstein…if he went by himself, then 1 went in, 2 came back, then 2 went back when he took Frankie home and then 1 came back when Jefferson came back home to FTL. Violates the rules of the hat: same number that go in must come back. Therefore, Jefferson had to have a travel buddy to make up the numbers, and maybe that person was Grace’s mother, who came along on the job whenever the +1 would be needed.
This would require Grace’s mother to be sitting around in different worlds, waiting for Jefferson to come back to collect her. So, let’s say one day he had a job in WL and needed the +1, so Grace’s mother is sitting around in WL waiting for him and gets kidnapped by Jafar who gives her magic and turns her into his minion, (not unlike what Rumple did with Regina).
Jefferson comes back, discovers what’s happened to her, realises there’s no way to get the real her back because that person is “lost”, (because he’s seen what happened to Regina and knows that there’s no coming back from that happening to you), and he ultimately has no choice but to leave her there and go back to FTL to raise their baby girl who is being babysat by the neighbours while her parents were at work. Explains Jefferson losing his wife because of his work. Explains why Jefferson hates WL. Even explains Regina’s little jab at him about not leaving family behind.
