This is why I’m still thinking that that particular shadow belonged to Felix. Felix’s shadow lost Bae, so Felix had to find Bae, and Felix had to compare Bae to the pic to see if he’d hit the jackpot.

Great connection with the glowing eyes being similar to the glowing hearts!

I’m not sure, since we see Felix has a shadow attached to him in the scene in the below-deck cabin with Hook. All the lost boys walk out, and their shadows reflect on the door opposite, including Felix. It’s the scene right after he tells Hook about the “rrrrripp” so, it would have been a prime moment to edit out HIS shadow verus all the other boys as they pass the door. It could be his shadow if after it is ripped, it hangs around with him unless sent to another world I guess. Sort of an assumption that after a shadow is ripped, that one no longer makes shadows.

Yeah, I posted that comment some time before you posted about having seen the shadows in that scene on the ship. Kept my eyes open for them on a re-watch and you’re right, you clearly see Felix’s shadow pass over the door as he’s walking out past Hook. The rest of the scene has shadows cast all over the place by the way the cabin is constructed, so it was sort of like they might have done that to try and mask the shadows of the Lost Ones. But when they’re walking out the door, it’s obvious, and that’s something they could have easily avoided if they didn’t want Felix’s shadow to be seen, just by switching the direction he was lit from.

Except that A&E said he wasn’t speaking the third person. I can’t remember where that was now, some interview.

And it’s also been hinted at recently that they’re casting someone new for the role of PP.

It would also suggest that PP was manipulating Rumple in the creation of the Curse, and possibly even manipulating BF giving Bae the bean, all pieces of the puzzle that would ultimately lead to the birth of the prophecide boy (Henry) and his being brought to NL.

    Perhaps?

I keep coming back to this, Phee, in my mind. Rumple was all gung-ho about fighting in the Ogre War. So excited and proud until he just happened to come across the seer. The seer just happens to find the one person who is going to have this fantastical journey crossing hundreds of years and innumerable curses and magic. I know we talk about fate, but this just reeks of the seer being planted there to set off the events of everything. It’s only after the seer talks to Rumple that the dominos start falling.

So this means the seer could have been working for someone else. She was a child. Maybe she was one of the children that PP took and found out she had special powers and she prophesized all that would be. The she was set back to FTL to set everything into motion. Rumple had to do everything so that Henry would eventually be born…without his machinations Bae would have never left and Henry would never have been conceived.

I still also think that Morraine’s talk with Henry was some kind planning. She just happened to talk to him about Reull Gorhm and the Blue Fairy just happened to have just one bean left that would help him. I can’t quite figure out how BF fits into everything. Unless she’s the role of Tinkerbelle who, imo, desperately loved and extremely jealous of Peter.

    My brain hurts, now. :geek:

Yeah, the more I think about it all, the more I think it was all set up, and this manipulation of people and events in various worlds has all just been PP’s plan to eventually bring Henry to him. I hear you on the hurting brain thing. ๐Ÿ˜•

Also if PP was looking to die, why does he need Henry specifically and not some other random boy?

Like I said in my previous post, Henry was the only person in the magical realm of SB who was able to age. If PP wants to be able to age in a magical realm where no one else can, Henry is exactly the type of person he needs.

I wouldn’t rule out Hook regretting his choice and attempting to rescue Bae. While A & E have changed quite a few things from the original tales in OUAT, they’ve never done so without kept their essences and Hook’s enmity with Peter Pan is one of those things. Since they’ve removed PP’s role in the loss of his left hand, it stands to reason that something else will have to motivate Hook to fight Peter, and a desire to rescue Bae seems a believable one.

Agreed. Really hoping that we get to see Hook attempting to rescue Bae. We’ve calculated that Hook must have left NL before Bae did though, so whatever happened with a rescue attempt, at some point, Hook still gave up and left. Maybe PP got sick of having to deal with Hook, and gave him a ticket out of NL to get rid of him, and Hook had the choice: rescue Milah’s son, or go get his revenge on Bae’s father, and he chose the latter. I really do hope there’s a genuine attempt to rescue Bae in there at some point though.

My position on this is known: I think they mean Neverland as a whole and not specifically the island, and that’s only so because Peter Pan controls the ways out.

    Agreed again.

I can’t access my earlier episodes this season I recorded but where exactly was Smee when the curse hit? We know that Hook was in FTL with Cora because she protected them with her little magical biosphere, but I can’t remember what land Smee was in.

    From The Crocodile:

Mr. Gold: No, no. Not about Moe โ€“ your captain. Where is he?

Smee: Iโ€™ve never seen him in Storybrooke, I swear. For some reason, when the curse hit, itโ€ฆ It didnโ€™t take him.

A few times in the podcast it’s been mentioned that Smee was in NL when the Curse hit, but I dunno where that assumption comes from, because to me, the above quote suggests that Smee was in the same land as Hook (FTL), it’s just that Hook was inside Cora’s bubble and Smee wasn’t. I don’t think anyone in NL was affected by the Curse.

We do know that Hook left Neverland at some point, obviously. He got back to the Enchanted Forest and knew the story about Belle living with Rumple. Somehow he had a mole somewhere because he also knew that Regina had her held captive (kind of makes you wonder since Jefferson also knew that Regina had Belle captive…was it not really a secret?)

I’m hoping there’ll be a scene at some point where Hook meets Maleficent, who is the one who told him about Regina having Belle. When Hook encountered Maleficent under the library, it seemed that he was familiar with her. And if Regina bragged to anyone about having the Dark One’s girlfriend locked up in a cell though he thought she was dead, she would have bragged to Maleficent.

I know everyone is obsessed with shipping and Emma, but I’m actually at the moment much more interested in the Hook/Nealfire relationship. He seemed floored to find out that Nealfire was Henry’s father and that even Neal was gone. He didn’t know. It was only after he was on the ship and saw the remind of Bae did he turn back around to help Storybrooke.

I am dying to see adult Nealfire and Hook interact.

Now I’ve got this picture of the Blue Fairy relaxing back in her chair at the convent with her feet propped on the desk eating chocolates while Storybrooke is in chaos.

    ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

I wonder what her position will be in town now that Regina and Rumple are gone. Methinks a bit of Rumple will wear off on Belle and she’ll be a bit suspicious of the BF, even though she did reawaken her memories. She’s been around Rumple enough to know fairies are not to be trusted. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

They could do some interesting stuff with this, (please do something interesting with BF, K&H!). I agree that Rumple’s distrust of fairies would have likely rubbed off on Belle a least a bit. Then again, Belle was de-Lacey-fied by a potion from BF. I imagine Belle will be interacting a decent amount with Grumpy. He’s a fan of BF, despite all the business with Nova. Now, say Belle wants to go look for Rumple, and BF is all, “Nope, not gonna happen,” and tries to wield her power, (she is the most magically powerful person in town now, after all), whose side would Grumpy be on in that argument? Coz he knows what it’s like to have BF tell you to stay away from the one you love, but I’m guessing he’s not a massive Rumbelle shipper, because he probably thinks Rumple is bad for her.

Going back to that comment about BF now being the most magically powerful person in SB, something else that would be interesting is if that was by design…if this was the cut she gets out of some deal she made with PP back in the day where he needed her to set some stuff up for his acquiring Henry to play out. A scenario like that would make her absence in the finale less annoying, because she would have been laying low for a nefarious reason.

Well, maybe Peter Pan is the Greek god Pan. Why I’m thinking this? Based what Tamara said we were already assuming that the Home Office has a religious motif for that what they do. But they never said in which “god” they believe.
Also the god Pan influenced how christian imagined the devil and based on wikipedia the word panic derives from his name.

The word panic derives from the Greek ฯ€ฮฑฮฝฮนฮบฯŒฯ‚, “pertaining to shepherd god Pan”, who took amusement from frightening herds of goats and sheep into sudden bursts of uncontrollable fear. The ancient Greeks credited the battle of Marathon’s victory to Pan, using his name for the frenzied, frantic fear exhibited by the fleeing enemy soldiers.

So that’s my theory who Pan might be.

Really like this line of thinking! The god Pan is where Barrie got the “Pan” from in Peter Pan, I believe, so it would make sense for K&H to have researched him when they were designing their version of Pan.

As for why PP wants Henry, the more I’ve thought about it, the more I’ve come to believe that he needs Henry to use, probably as a host, so that he’s finally able to grow up and eventually die.

I think that could be what Felix was alluding to when he told Bae he’d get to live: he wasn’t the right boy, so he’d get to stay young in NL forever, but the boy PP wants, will age and die. The shock factor of them dropping that bombshell made it seem like Henry would be sacrificed right after he was found, but now I’m thinking it really meant eventual death.

Henry is a unique being, not just because he was conceived by two FTL characters in our world, but because when he went to SB, he became the one and only person in that town who could age. NL is a place where no one ages, but if PP wants to, then of course he’d want the body of Henry, the boy who was able to age in a world where no one else could.

PP has a famous line, “To die will be an awfully big adventure,” which is what got me thinking along these lines.

I enjoy watching him tweet answers, but it does get frustrating when he spends most of the time answering the nutty fanatics who attack the show for not being exactly what they want it to be.

It’s gotta be hard for him when he sees the haters. This show is his baby, so if people hurl abuse at it, I totally get it if he feels the need to respond to defend it. Just sucks that people hurl the abuse to begin with, because he shouldn’t be put in that position, he should just be able to sit back and read comments from people who actually truly appreciate the show and the work that he and Eddy have put into it.

Just maybe Ariel never got sucked up by the curse since I assume there will be other beings in Neverland not taken to Storybrooke. So she could still be stuck in Neverland, forever doomed to her fate. I would love to encounter a smart-talking, sarcastic Ariel. It’s just twisted enough to work.

Yep, my headcanon has her still in NL, which was unaffected by the Curse. I’d love an Ariel with some sass. If she’s gonna be paired with Hook, she’s gotta be able to hold her own.

Oh, and a word of advice…don’t tag your posts #fishhook on Tumble. It means something else that is definitely “NSFW”. I made the mistake and got a real shock. I’ve stopped using the phrase for them since them. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I once did a search for Ariel and came upon a photo where someone was posing like…let’s just say, it was evidently right after Ariel had arrived on land and she was testing how far apart these these new leg things could spread. ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

What if the mermaids are like the mermaids in the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean movie? They would lure men to the water and then kill them, similar to the sirens of the sea who lured the ships to the rocks. All the mermaids did this except one who was captured. Ariel?

I’m pretty sure Onceiverse NL mermaids will have a rep for being a “curse” because they drag you down to drown if they catch you. It’s the perfect setup to show Ariel as being unique when she saves someone from drowning instead.

As with all the baddies on this show though, I suspect they’ll have a reason for wanting to drown humans. Right now I wanna say that it will be because they hate PP and his minions, so kill any they can get their hands on.
