I can honestly say that I don’t feel teased or abused or neglected or anything by K&H. It’s only been two seasons. If we get to season six and they still haven’t shown us Henry’s adoption, then yeah, I’ll be annoyed, but it’s only been two seasons. And it’s not like they haven’t answered stuff for us, they just haven’t answered everything, which frankly, I’m thankful for, because it keeps me excited about what’s still to come.

This is a good question because I don’t think Rumple knew who GOAT were. He knows who they work for, and he only knows because he knew they went to NL. That’s what clued him into to who they were. Before that, he didn’t know.
I agree. Before finding out that they took Henry to NL I really really doubt he knew anything other than Greg being an outsider and Tamara being Neal’s fiancee. If he had an idea of it, he would have acted on it, not just ignored them. To him they are just “pawns” who are being used by somebody much higher up but until the finale, he didn’t realize that.
Agreed. I do suspect that he knows PP has been looking for a specific boy though. And for now I’m still sticking with the idea that he knows this because he was also taken to NL as a boy, and was rejected and let go because he wasn’t the right one. I think that the pieces have suddenly fallen into place in his head. “I was allowed to leave NL because the boy PP needed would be my grandson.”
If so, it may also be starting to click in his head that his Curse, (which could pertain to just the Curse that Regina cast, or also Rumple’s Dark One Curse and all the consequences of it, like him losing Bae), was all a part of this grand plan, and that PP is more powerful, manipulative and dangerous than he’d ever imagined.
If Rumple has just figured out that PP was able to control GOAT’s actions in our world, that’s some serious power. We’ve seen how many hoops Rumple had to jump through to get to this world, and to be able to leave the barriers of SB. But if PP had enough knowledge of GOAT to control their actions, then he’s all over being able to communicate with and manipulate people in our world, easy as pie. If Rumple had had that sort of power, he could have gotten Bae back in a flash. Therefore, PP’s powers significantly trump Rumple’s.
Taking all of this into consideration, is it any wonder Rumple looked like he wanted to crap his dacks when they were about to go into that portal to go and face PP? 😕

HappyEndings, If you choose to focus on the negative regarding the show, then that’s your prerogative. I don’t personally see the point in picking things apart to the point where the show annoys me, because I watch it for enjoyment.
As for the ratings, they may have dropped, but OUAT is still one of ABC’s top performers, so again, I don’t get the desire to focus on the doom and gloom.
I have faith that this is a story that K&H have wanted to tell for years and as such they will treat their story with respect and tell it in an enjoyable way.
Yes, obviously they’re gonna show Henry’s adoption at some point. They don’t need Jared to look young for that, because the character will be a baby. I’ve come to believe that THO were the ones who orchestrated his adoption, and if so, they couldn’t have shown that storyline at any point in the first two seasons because we’ve only just been introduced to THO at the end of season two.
As far as Emma flashbacks, they’ll probably have to make her look younger again when they show her time spent in Tallahassee, (which I assume they will), but if I was able to suspend belief enough to accept she was in her late teens in the previous ep, I’ll happily do it again. Anything else they show over those 10 years before SB, she was living a hard life and having to grow up fast, so I see no reason why JMo wouldn’t be able to successfully portray her younger self in that context.
Have some patience, (I say this as someone who generally has none)!! If they showed us everything about everything immediately, they’d run out of storyline pretty fast and then the show would abruptly end, or it would turn to crap when they tried to make up new stuff just for the sake of keeping it going.

True. But actually showing him alive somewhere in present day would hammer it home and make it beyond a doubt obvious to anyone watching that the goal of the heroes of this show is indeed attainable.
Nah, it’s rapidfire enough that people won’t be able to really deduce what’s going on, and by the time they get around to airing the finale, everyone will have forgotten that half a second clip from this promo.

All the (new) footage in the promo must have come from the brief pilot, which had to be in depth enough to demonstrate where the show would be going with the story and format. The purpose of it was to enlighten network execs enough to get them to officially sign off on the show going forward. Keeping that in mind, I figure they probably had to show that Cyrus is very much alive somewhere, otherwise ARK’s search for him, (which will make up much of the show), is totally redundant, and the show would be pointless. That’s what makes me think we’ll get confirmation of Cyrus’ whereabouts early on, and where better for him to be than in SB. That scene in Granny’s had to be in there for some reason.
