Bummer. I held on to Nealfire Pan for so long.
You and almost everyone else on this board. ๐ OncePodcast was totally the Nealfire Pan bunker, but in the end all the clues and connections connecting Bae to Peter Pan were totally done as a clever red herring to hide Adam and Eddy’s real intentions regarding Peter. It sucks, I know. Here, have a cookie! ๐
Ya know, I was totally convinced of NealfirePan, but with all the new potential possibilities that have sprung up as a result of the finale, I haven’t even had time to be bummed about being wrong. ๐ Well played, Adam and Eddy. Well. Played.
Agreed. My best guess as to how Wendy comes back into play is that Peter will clash at some point with Bae (AKA my belief that Bae’s life in Neverland will resemble a lot the story of the book The Lord of the Flies) , and he’ll bring Wendy to NL again to use her against him. How long until Peter takes that decision could account for a bit of aging for her character.
That would be a cool way to bring Wendy back into it!

And honestly, I think it’s stretching credibility to have a 12 year old be this overlord whose plans spans centuries and involves other realms.
It would verge on comical, and I’m pretty sure comical isn’t what they’re aiming for here.

What I meant by the 300 year old thing is that Pan is probably at least officially around Rumple’s and Hook age but he looks like he’s a person more in his I don’t know 30’s 40’s maybe 20’s if the magic is wearing off very slowly.
I’ve been thinking about this too, but sort of from a different perspective. What if PP actually wants to grow old and die? Maybe he’s sick of being centuries old and stuck in a young body, and maybe his only way out is taking over Henry’s body as a host, so he can actually grow at a normal rate and die? If the dagger is the only thing that can kill The Dark One, maybe this is the only specific way that PP can die?
Anyway, I’m on board with PP being around 20ish. That’s old enough to go head to head with a Wendy of the same age, and possibly even creepily flirt with her. It’s not too old that it would look ridiculous if Bae tried to take him on. And it’s not too young that we can’t have our adult heroes try to blast him to kingdom come as well. Can’t really show Charmingstilkskins&Co beating down on a teen. And it’s not too old that we couldn’t still get some believable, childlike aspect to his personality. So around 20 covers all bases IMO.

What if Peter Pan is Rumple,s Father ๐ฏ
Hmm. Well there was a scene in Manhattan where a young Rumple watches his father sneak off into the middle of the night, but I believe is also killed. It was cut for time but H and K discussed it in their official podcast for that episode. Someone help me out…they did say that his father died right?
All I remember about that cut scene is that apparently Rumple’s father told him he was going to get some water at the well or something, and picked up a bucket on his way out the door and Rumple never saw him again. I remember this because when Milah hands over baby Bae to him and storms out, she pauses by the door to pick up a bucket, and I thought what a bummer it was that they cut the scene with his father, because the scene with Milah was meant to be an echo of it. Off the top of my head, I can’t recall if we’ve had it confirmed that his father actually died.

ParticipantThe long hiatus would suck, but honestly, I’d rather that than all the random stops and starts of new eps. A schedule like this with the two blocks of eps should do wonders for the momentum of the storyline and with any luck will keep people watching.

ParticipantWhere is Mr Gold’s shop in relation to the docks? Is it possible the Charmings and Regina ran past there on the way, and Rumbelle followed to see what was going on?
If not, then I’ve got nothin’.

ParticipantYou had to figure ABCโs Once Upon a Time and its eagerly anticipated upcoming spinoff Once Upon a Time in Wonderland would cross their creative streams at some point.
But youโre not going to have to wait long for elements of one show to appear into the other.
Get this: The first episode of Wonderland currently starts in Storybrooke.
Most likely the bit in the trailer that appears to be a hole blasting up through the floor of Granny’s Diner, I suppose? Will be interesting to see where it fits in the SB t-word. Obviously after anything we’ve seen thus far, but how long? And will Granny make a cameo appearance if it starts in the Diner?

What if, Peter wrote the book,
Over the last day or so, the same thought has been lurking in the back of my mind.
Right now I’ve got PP pegged as the one who invented that failsafe trigger. There’s gotta be some explanation as to how GOAT found out what it was so quickly, considering it was meant to be some unique trick that Regina had included for her own personal use. But if GOAT’s boss has been communicating with PP, and if he created the trigger, he’d have been able to tell them what it was and how to activate it immediately. The purpose of the failsafe was to wipe out everyone in town except for Henry, so that GOAT could get him to PP. So it stands to reason that PP is the one who orchestrated the failsafe in the first place.

ParticipantThey did approach MRJ specifically, but there was still this casting call that went out:
He’s in his 20s or 30s, charismatic, sexy and mysterious, but also loyal and kind, and he’s running from his past in a land full of danger.
It actually wouldn’t surprise me if they already have someone in mind for their Ariel, but even if so, as with Neal, there’d still be a casting call.
Now, casting call dates for MAP…looks like the girls were around about June 18. Hmmm.

ParticipantJust went to look up when the casting call for Neal (aka Jack) came out, but the report for that on SpoilerTV was posted on July 20th, which doesn’t help at all. How late did they start filming season 2 if that casting call was only doing the rounds in late July?
Anyway, yes, I imagine it’d be possible that they’d be on the hunt for an Ariel now if they start filming mid-July and she’ll be early on in the season, which, given the mermaid anvils in the last 2 eps, is probably a reasonably safe bet.

ParticipantLooking at the Once headlines on SpoilerTV, I don’t see anything about recent casting calls, though I suppose maybe the entire post was removed. Google isn’t helping. This is gonna drive me nuts.

The first half of the season might end with Bae leaving NL just as in the present day Neal comes to NL (parallel, gosh I love them) with Belle.
Love this! Please let it happen this way!

I don’t think it’ll be that hard to feature MAP with Neal for a few episodes anymore. Sarah Bolger and Jamie Chung’s new shows are both mid-season pickups, so supposedly there’s room in their schedules for early season 3.
Ah, good stuff, thanks for the info! That should mean we’ll get a proper conclusion to their part of the story then.
