Wannabe runaway Ursula seemingly offering some object to Hook would make sense if it were them making a deal where she’d give him something to get out of NL, as long as he took her with him. It wouldn’t fit with the t-word at all though, given that she would have still needed time to get to her current age, while Hook didn’t age at all in the same amount of time. Wouldn’t put it past them to toss the t-word out the window though.
Young!Ursula’s dress is pretty, I loooooove that teal colour on the bodice.
What I meant was, this is Young Ursula. Shouldn’t see be mermaid/octopus and not human lady legs? I think its just I assumed that in these flashbacks we’d see Ursula in her natural element as opposed to on land and walking on two feet. She said in the first episode that she left the sea so I assume that she has some kind of water form. I thought we’d be seeing that.
Considering the show’s track record with special effects, you might be better off leaving the underwater kingdom up to your own imagination. Just think for a moment how it’d look on an OUAT budget. We may get a shot of Octo!Ursula swimming to the surface, and (as much as it would terrify me because octopus phobia) maybe see her crawling up the side of the ship, before she switches to the legs? But partially humanoid beings actually interacting underwater, I don’t see them giving us that.

I think it was probably Real!Hook up until and including the library. Not!Hook tells Belle at the Diner that the QoD want Regina to steal something, but considering he’s actually Rumple, and is the one in control of this whole plan, he didn’t have to be in the library scene in order to relay that information to Belle. You’d think that Rumple would have been smart enough to knock Hook out at some point, (and later wipe his memory of it), so there wasn’t two of him wandering around town, but I don’t necessarily expect to ever have that clarified.
If that WAS Rumple in the library scene, then he knows that Regina’s just faking bad with the QoD to spy on them.
Emma was super frustrating in this ep.

I hope August gets out of the cabin and gets to interact with people like Emma. I fear he may never make it out of that cabin though.
Didn’t realise just how much I’d missed him until I saw him back again.
This look into Maleficent’s history was utterly underwhelming, (wonder if there was more stuff shot that ended up on the cutting room floor). We’ve waited a long time to see their version of the Sleeping Beauty story, and that’s all we get? Seriously?
Raise your hand if you’re incredibly disappointed in Rumple?
If I had enough enthusiasm left to bother, I’d be flailing both arms madly in the air.
If I were Belle, I could maybe, perhaps, one day come to see Rumple as a friend again if he gave up magic and showed a concerted effort over an extended period of time to be a decent person. If an addict puts in an honest effort to kick their addiction, takes responsibility for and shows remorse for what they did while consumed by their addiction, and makes a change to be a more productive human being in the future, then they deserve another shot at a better life, and part of that would be being forgiven by those they’ve wronged. But if I’m Belle, I dunno that I could ever forget the things Rumple has done, and be willing to be in a relationship with him again.
If I were Rumple, I’d feel pretty betrayed that Belle had given the Dagger to someone who has been my sworn enemy for centuries. I guess it’s complicated because Rumple actually wanted her to give “Hook” the Dagger, but I would still think that it’d hurt him on some level that she’d just handed an object like that over to Hook of all people, no questions asked.
I’d be surprised if RumBelle don’t bounce back after this, (unless Rumple dies), but I can’t see myself buying however they have them reconcile, because the betrayal on both sides is too much IMO.
Cora being back this close to the end of season is honestly starting to make me think that Team Villains do win and get their happy endings.
Would Regina’s happy ending and Cora’s happy ending be able to co-habitate though? Cora’s happy ending was Regina being stuck in a marriage she didn’t want, just so she’d be a Queen. Or would Cora’s happy ending have been staying with Rumple, which would mean that Regina never even existed?
