I think there is a connection between the wraith and that shadow peter pan thing too.

They have such a similar feel about them. The eyes are different shape though, and the Wraith had no legs, but I can’t shake the feeling that they’re related somehow, especially if they want to relate the end of the season to the beginning. It would tie things together nicely.

However that shadow cannot be Peter Pan if A&E are to believed that we won’t “see” Peter Pan this season.

Unless it’s just his shadow, which they’re classing as a separate entity? But that might be stretching it a bit? They said there’d be hints about someone who we wouldn’t actually see until next season. If we assume that “someone” is Peter Pan, I’d say that even showing his shadow is as good as us seeing him. For me, the jury is still out on exactly who/what that thing holding Wendy’s hand is.

Did Barrie give Peter Pan a specific origin story, or was he always just that boy in Neverland who never grew up?

The only thing that made me roll my eyes during this ep was Regina insisting, “I am not evil,” and, “They only see the Evil Queen, which they made me.” God bless Rumple for at least attempting to point out in his delightfully sarcastic tone that she was deluded.

Loved the stuff with Snow and Regina, because it showed that Snow probably actually knows Regina better than she knows herself these days.

Loved the stuff with Henry and Emma, which got even better when Nealfire showed up. Father and son were both wearing red striped scarves, which was cute.

Loved that we got lots of (poor limpy) Hook! He was especially awesome in the scene in Regina’s office with all the “Your mother would love that, it’s exactly what she’d have wanted for you,” talk. Really laying it on extra thick to bait her into recruiting him. Well played, Hook m’dear! 😈

This organization and other similar believers might even be the reason why this is “A Land Without Magic.” Magic might have had a larger presence long ago, but has been wiped out from this world at the hands of people like Greg and Tamara. They are essentially modern day witch hunters.

What a cool and ominous concept!

Yesterday I posted in another thread that perhaps they could be a part of some sort of Illuminati-type organisation, with all this secret knowledge and resources, and it could be a super exclusive club, only open to those who have connections to magical worlds, potentially stretching centuries back to people like the Grimms who somehow knew the stories.

When I was thinking about that yesterday, I wasn’t thinking that they had such a negative vendetta against all things magical though. They’re very clearly on the “destroy all magic” team, not the “investigate all magic for our own purposes” team. “Unholy” is a pretty strong term.

I know that a lot of people were annoyed by the idea that the bean sent him to a world with magic instead of a world without magic like Blue said it would.

Even if he goes to FictionalLondon and that’s another world without magic, (making Blue’s words true), that world is still connected somehow to at least one magical land, as evidenced by the ShadowyWhateverPanThing that’s flying Wendy out the window to NL.

Assuming that Bae comes to our world from NL at some point to stay here, that means that our non-magical world has a connection there too.

Our non-magical world was also accessible from FTL, or the SBers never could have ended up here.

Can a world truly be “without magic” if it’s possible to cross over between it and another world?

The London portion of Peter Pan was fictional too, so why wouldn’t it be its’ own world? The concept of these classic stories being a hybrid between real world and fictional settings would make my head spin for many reasons.

This is something I’ve often wondered about, because the fact that all of these stories somehow made their way into our world means there must be a connection of some sort between the “fictional” worlds and our world. So characters like the Darlings, and Alice, and Dorothy being actual real world people from real world places who got wrapped up in adventures in magical lands doesn’t seem out of the question IMO.

But if this place we see Bae in is actual real world London, then it means Neal straight up lied to Emma, (and through Neal, K&H straight up lied to the viewers), that our world wasn’t the first one he went to. For that reason, I’ve gotta think that what we’ve seen in the previews isn’t real world London.

I’ve been trying to find the interview where K&H made mention of a fictional London-esque place as opposed to actual real world London. I did find a couple of posts where we mention it, but there’s no link to the actual interview in the thread, which is slightly infuriating. It appears to have been something they said at Paley though. These posts were on March 4th…

The way they said it, Wendy may not necessarily be from our world, if I understood them right?

Yeah the answer to that question left it very open. So maybe there is a Fairy Tale London lie a Fairytale China (Mulan).

the writers’ answer at Paleyfest was very cryptic. Dr Frankenstein is from Switzerland… or is he? Wendy flew out of a window in London, or a storytale London?

Will be interesting to see if there is StoryLondon if Alice and Wendy are both there.

So it’s interesting, that his shadow looks almost wraith like, a hollow being with soulless eyes.

I can’t get over how creepy it looks, and it makes me all kinds of suspicious. Honestly, we don’t even know if that shadowy creature will actually be Peter Pan. It’s safe to assume, given that whoever it is is taking Wendy’s hand and flying her out a window to go to NL, which is what Peter Pan traditionally does, but that creature just looks evil, and gives me chills, which does not jive with how you’re meant to feel about Peter Pan.

Is it next week yet? How about now? NOW?!

Idk what it was but I thought it was really cool that they brought back that casket. I had completely forgotten about it from season 1 when Henry and Archie were in the mines. I remember wondering that was even there and now we know! Loved it.

Yes, I loved that! Now we know exactly why both the coffin and DragonMaleficent were brought over. Very cool that there was actually a specific, important reason.

I remain skeptical about this. It doesn’t fit the timeline. Snow got Robin’s bow from Rumple after she met Charming and she hadn’t met Charming yet in this episode.

Robin’s bow was strung with gold. Snow’s bow (in this ep at least, dunno about in others) was strung with black.

I’m wondering if Malificent is dead now. The only way Hook could have realistically made if out of their alive is if he disrupted her magic powers, thereby taking away whatever “sustained her” and managed to get back up (via the elevator or whatever). Of course assuming that he didn’t just “rule of cool” his way out of there. ^_^

In the Initial Reactions podcast, Daniel suggested that Tamara had given Hook the taser, and he used it on Maleficent. Seems believable enough to me.
