You see, this is what fandom should be about. Bringing people together to bond over something they love, and helping to give you a boost in those moments when real life sucks. This is why I don’t understand people who are in fandom just to tear shows apart and complain. It’s far more rewarding when you’re in it for the right reasons.
Ser_Dragon, I’m glad you took in that kitty who was sick and helped him during those years. Sounds like you came along at just the right time for him and your relationship was meant to be. I hope your diabetic cat sticks around for many years to come.
[adrotate group="5"]Regarding Rumbelle being split up, do we even know for sure that Rumple is actually leaving SB? I know he was there for the shooting at the boat, but he and Emilie were also shooting at the shop at one point. Obviously we don’t know which order those scenes will be in. Do we know what day Robert finished filming, (don’t recall seeing anything about it), to figure out what characters he may share other scenes with? If the others have to leave to go to another land, it may well be that Rumple stays behind in SB to hold down the fort, so to speak. Or perhaps the rest of them go looking for Henry and Rumbelle go looking for Nealfire, who may be in a completely different place to where Henry ends up. That could potentially qualify as a “gamechanger” if Rumple goes to find his son without hurting anyone and destroying a whole world to do it this time.
Speaking of the scene of Rumbelle at the shop, isn’t that shoot the same day where people mentioned having seen the two mystery female characters around set too? If they’re both in SB, it’s unlikely that one of them is Wendy, unless Onceiverse Wendy never went home from Neverland.
The caption that Jared put on the pic just makes it all the more adorable. <3

Of the two girls who were cast, if one of them is Ariel, I hope she’s the one. Sounds like she’ll be someone of significance, whoever she is.

Then again, perhaps this is the reason they’ve brought Tamara and Greg into the game, to show the heroes how dangerous would be to leave SB unprotected to any outsider who’d want to wield its magic. Greg has barely arrived and he’ll already get a grip on how to use a bean, who knows how much would an ambitious outsider like Tamara be able to accomplish if left unchecked?
Trust me, this whole thing about returning to FTL for good is just the producers teasing the possibility, but they won’t seriously go ahead with it, not with the major characters and most of the town at least. The premise of the series is that the characters we know from storybooks and such live in a secret community in the modern world, having everyone go back to FTL leaving our world for good would be the equivalent of permanently relocating Friends’s Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe from New York to Los Angeles, San Francisco or any other city from season 3 onwards.
Totally agree. The dynamic of how the magical storybook characters are integrated within our world is a huge theme for the show, so I can’t see them just dropping it and sending everyone back to FTL or NL or wherever permanently. Now that the real world is encroaching via GOAT, I’d have to think that they’re going to keep exploring those ideas. Also, I’m hopeful that one day they’ll show how all these stories became known in our world, but that would be sort of redundant if the characters haven’t been shown as continually having to deal with being a part of our world in the mean time.
This show and the forum, (and the spoilers) have saved my sanity this past couple of weeks. My feline companion of 14 years, Diamar, suddenly got sick, was diagnosed with lymphoma and passed away after her first chemo treatment. This show and forum is the only thing that’s been able to temporarily distract me from my otherwise constant melancholy. Without those time outs, I’d have been completely overwhelmed. It was actually sort of good timing for an ep I didn’t really love, (Selfless, Brave and True) to air, because it meant I could vent and rant a bit, and that’s exactly the unhappy mood I was in in general, so the show gave me an outlet for it. So thank you Once and thank you forum members for helping me through, even though you didn’t even know it.

If so, that’s less storyline they have to create. But at the same time, they can properly flesh out any Wonderland ideas they may have, that don’t necessarily fit in Once. And there’s always the chance that characters from either show could cross over for certain eps.
I wasn’t that thrilled about the concept originally, but that was due mostly to the rumour of them re-casting the Hatter. The more we’ve heard about it, the more I think that what they have in mind for Wonderland will actually compliment Once in just the right way.

This! Perhaps it’s just that when she’s working, she feels that she needs to stay focused and in the zone of what she’s shooting in order to give 100%, and the distraction of mingling with fans would throw her off her game. Considering she’s happy to meet with fans when she’s not shooting, that seems like a perfectly acceptable explanation IMO. And wanting to do her job properly isn’t something she should be judged negatively for.
I do think that scene could be a dream, mostly because of the cane thing. It could still be Rumple’s dream even if Belle’s not there. If he’s dreaming about doing something horrible to Henry, he wouldn’t want Belle there to witness it.
But I also like the idea that it’s real and that the shocked expressions are because Hook comes bursting into the shop, intent on finishing off the Crocodile. The powers that be did say that he’d pop back up in a surprising way, didn’t they?
I’d actually love it if this happened, because it would mean that Hook and Nealfire will be face to face and will interact, which is something I desperately want to see. Just imagine, Hook bursts in to lunge at Rumple, and Nealfire gets in the way all, “Back off my Papa, Hook,” and Hook’s eyes bug out all, “Well, you’re a tad taller than the last time I saw you, son,” then Rumple’s eyes bug out all, “Watch who you’re calling son.”

I think Neal hooked up with Tamara purely because he was petrified by the prospect of facing Emma and where that may, or worse, may not lead. If he was with someone else, he had an excuse to not have to go through all that uncertainty and potential heartache with Emma.

The photos are taken in public areas. Those involved with the show cannot legally ban VCF (or anyone else) from being in those areas during filming. Even if the powers that be don’t really want them around, they can’t actually prevent them from being there. VCF won’t be going away any time soon.
