It may well be that JMo and GG aren’t fan friendly when they’re on set. You don’t see pics of fans with them the way you do with the other actors. But if they don’t feel comfortable mingling with fans while they’re working, they’re not obligated to, and shouldn’t be bashed because of it.
There’s a saying that you shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds. VCF has built their reputation on basically exploiting everyone who works on not just Once, but other shows as well. I’m not gonna say they’re evil for doing that, because it’d be hypocritical considering how enthusiastically I devour spoilers, many of which are supplied by VCF. But speaking for myself, if I was using these actors to make me who I am, I wouldn’t go around badmouthing them in public, (if they’d been genuinely horrible to me personally, I’d diss them in private to my personal friends, but I think it’s poor form to diss them publicly just for not doing something they don’t actually have to do).
The layout of the main room, with the door directly across from the window, (which looks like the same window) is still the same, and in both you can see the green hallway outside his front door. So I’d say they just expanded the set out of necessity and hoped no one would notice.

Terrible feng shui to have the foot of the bed pointing at the gaping void of a doorway between rooms. No wonder he had nightmares.

However, Phillip’s soul did get hinted to have been sent to another realm. As others theorized, that could be Neverland. They also filmed those scenes on a beach, which fits the Neverland setting.
Yeah I know, I’ve just always envisioned the place where the souls get sent to be more of an in between, spiritual plane sort of world, instead of a physical world like NL. Souls aren’t a physical thing, so I never imagined they’d be sent to a physical realm. So for now, I’m thinking that beach scene is somewhere they go in FTL after they’ve brought Phillip’s soul back and revived his body.
If Eric is someone separate, then yes, they’d have to put him with Ariel. The only reason that prince exists is so Ariel has someone to fall in love with, he’s not really the primary character in the story with a whole individual story and history fleshed out. Which means that for Once, they’d need to make something up for him. Which means they could easily make him Hook, an already established character whose history they want to delve into in future eps.

Rumple was at the dock (as was Belle), but I don’t recall if there were any pics of him actually on the ship.
I’m not convinced we’ll see Neal in NL at all this season. Just makes more sense to me if he goes to FTL, considering that’s where we last saw MAP.

Barrie states in the novel that “Hook was not his true name. To reveal who he really was would even at this date set the country in a blaze.”
…maybe he was born royalty, until some scandal saw his family lose everything, and he ended up turning to piracy to survive.

I don’t think it’s the same makeup effect…to be honest, I don’t think Regina and Philip have makeup on their hands.
