I don’t see why they had to resolve the daniel/monster problem in this episode, or whales arm? they could have let both play out a little longer (tortured regina a little longer? ). I agree they made dr. whale give in to rumple’s ‘magic is better than science’ too quickly for my liking as well!
In season 1 it felt like some stories were dragged out over loads of episodes, now it feels like they rush every story to begin and conclude in just the one episode. Hopefully it will start to slow a little soon, otherwise what will be left by episode 22 for goodness sake?! lol[adrotate group="5"]pinkfairyParticipantI think the rumple set up happened after jefferson’s convo with Regina about the wizard as rumple saw it as an opportunity.
I’m also not sure if whale/victor will be the wizard of Oz, the writters have tried to lead us one way before by using visual ‘clues’ and then turned it around in the end. I think he was made to visually look a little like he could be the wizard (with a few script misdirections by jefferson thrown in) but the end scene is a confirmation that he isn’t.
BUT then again if Rumple can be the beast and the crocodile as well, who really knows? (apart from the writters of course!, lol)pinkfairyParticipant@MellieMD wrote:
I don’t see Swan/Hook because I think Hook truly loved Milha and is driven completely by that love and the revenge he wants to exact. I think if Emma/Hook happened, it would be his way of manipulating her.
I completely agree with this. I see him trying to get close to Emma for his own gain, the deal with Cora to get to Storybrooke. I think the way he will play Emma at the end of this episode (i.e con her) will be the reflection of how mystery man( Neal cassady) plays her/leaves her to take the rap in the flashbacks. Just my theory, but we see so often the flashback story line reflecting in the present time story line.

I think Henry knew what they were, but also knew they wouldn’t help him. Perhaps they all started beating like that when magic returned to Storybrooke.
I think you are right Daniel, and I’m also wondering if they started beating that loud BECAUSE of Henry?
we don’t know yet if Henry will have a bit of magic in him? I know he is not going to be a ‘character’ as such but look who his parents AND grandparents are. We can assume Emma has something going on (magic parents and all) and i’v seen in other pieces written about Henry’s dad that he is going to be more than Emma expected him to be (i.e magic/ a character or something) ??pinkfairyParticipantSlightly off track here, i know, but i’m not so sure Lancelot IS dead. Just keeps going through my head that it’s very throw away of the writters to not use him more as him, rather than cora as him(oh sorry that sounds confusing! 😆 )
Although I know it was Cora playing Lancelot when snow and Emma were taken out of the pitt, what if (and this is going to be quite a big what if) Lancelot was alive in his cabin up until he orders Snow and Emma out of the pitt, Cora then magics into Lancelot’s cabin, knocks him out (or magics him away, whatever?) and THEN appears as him to get the gossip from Emma as Snow wouldn’t let her talk before??
I know it’s VERY far fetched but hey, that’s how my mind works 😀oh yes! and if anyone follows Sinqua on twitter, he tweeted a very crafty message when we see it’s Cora disguised as Lancelot and find out she killed him
But did Lancelot really die???? Hmmmm!
pinkfairyParticipantJust wanted to add a quick note.
I see some have commented that his charater now is the opposite to his fairytale character. This is not so. The way he acts NOW is pretty much who he is. Still not much help to solving WHO he is but at least you can stop thinking along those lines really??pinkfairyParticipantI think you are right, that story is not done yet.I hope they put Aurora back to sleep again to save Phillip, that would solve two problems for me! LOL 😉
pinkfairyParticipantI really don’t see the whole point of the ‘snow white gets cursed and can’t have babies’ storyline? I mean, we already know she has a baby? It just seemed such a weak way to mix in with the ‘charming’s mother dying’ storyline? And wooo they were already married before the big official wedding, is this going to have some significance later? I thought it was going to be a way of us finding out Charming’s real name (which i keep harping on about! lol) but nope 😕
I’m not really getting the point of Henry going to the cript if he didn’t find anything? (well apart from snakes!)
Think i’m going to go rewatch and think some more now 😀pinkfairyParticipantAhhhh I thought we would find out Charming’s name tonight, or did I miss something??
LOVED everything in this episode except Charming’s mother dying 🙁 and i’m still not warming to Aurora…and only 30 seconds of Regina!!! ( well I suppose it balances out so much screen time for her last episode, but still…)
pinkfairyParticipantThank goodness, thought it was just me who has not warmed to Mulan or Aurora yet. and as others have said,i hate the little underlying love triangle. I hope i will warm to them over the next episode, as there is almost nothing i hate about this show, and it may be just because they are new characters and, as yet, fairly unexplored. we shall see i guess? 🙂
