KeymasterO’Donoghue: Well, he was shot and fell through the portal so … you can definitely assume he was dead because he was shot
“he WAS” dead “WAS” what is “WAS” what is….ok. I’ll be over here in this corner eating my hair until further notice.
PS: All you Hook fans. S3. Confirmed for Hook.

And probably not quite old enough to be Tamara’s “grandmother”. Can we fanwank Dorothy’s age up a little bit more? 😆
Absolutely. If we can make Marian and RH Tamara’s parents, or make August Baelchio the Wizard of Neverland and put Hook and Ariel in a relationship despite one of the key members of said ship not yet being seen on the show, we can do just about anything.

What if the HO is OZ?
I’ve been speculating for awhile now that one of the heads of the Home Office, if not the current head, was Dorothy. There have been many Oz references his season and I think it makes sense if Dorothy’s time in Oz was more negative.
Well here’s some timeline goodness for you then RG. We know that around the time that Jefferson was getting Frankenstein to help con Regina (who was just becoming the queen so may 10 years pre-curse…) Jefferson was bringing Rumple stuff from Oz because Rumple asked about the slippers but they had already been used by the time he got there….so maybe a late 20s / early 30s at most Dorothy! (Depending on how old they make her when she goes to Oz but still…totally plausible she’s still around and fairly young).
Lately, every time someone says the word timeline, I cry.
So yes, we know Dorothy (we assume its Dorothy) was in Oz about 7-10 years before the Curse because Regina was slowly learning magic and hadn’t become “the Evil Queen” yet. Add another 28 years for the actual Curse and that’s about 38 years, roughly. If Dorothy was about 15 when she went through, 53 now. Granted, rather old for our traditional tale of Dorothy. But old enough that she could have been working for the Home Office since she came back from Oz and moved up in it. And if they show Dorothy’s background maybe end of S3 to S4 they could cast a younger version for her actual adventure in Oz. I’d really like it if the next land we saw/went to was Oz.

KeymasterI do agree with you about context, Kat, and I think right now our actors don’t know a whole lot about S3 and are trying to be as vague as possible. I’ve always been on board that CS had to happen in order for SF to be a real thing, but now after SSTR I find I’m a little more hesitant. I did not in any way expect that declaration of love from Neal and Emma. I didn’t see that coming until after CS had their time in the sun. I just don’t know they rationalize Emma being with anyone (Hook..guy who lives across the street from MM and Emma…ANYONE) after that scene, unless they plan on making it seem like Neal really did die (to the CharmingStiltskins) until midway through S3. It was just so intense that I can’t see them throwing Emma into a romantic relationship after loosing the man she loves for the second time. I really want to see how they handle Neal’s “death” in ASOTM, do the CharmingStiltskins find out that he’s not dead? That’s a major question.
**EDIT**
I’m starting to ponder if CS will be a romantic relationship, I guess. I can see them being BFFs. Emma doesn’t actually have a ton of friends. Her best friend MM turned out to be her mom. And I can see Hook and Emma taken friendly comfort in each other, I guess. I don’t know. H and K and time will tell/show."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI really want him to be a Prince too. Maybe one who was sent to NL by whoever took his throne. I’m open to Ariel and Hook if it happens.

Keymaster90. Don’t look at Lacey unless you want a face full of boot.

KeymasterSo let’s theorize. Where is Hook originally from? NL? FTL and then went to NL at a young age? Another land?
