Phee:
…would be a classic case of “two birds, one stone” as far as Regina was concerned, so I can totally see her planning it that way, though I think Gold wants Emma to keep her job. So I can totally see that Gold’s words to Emma about “find her or it’s your badge” would have ensured that she got out there and found her and brought her back in time. Then Regina gets all irritated about how the plan didn’t work (which is a WIN for Gold coz he likes to watch her squirm), but he can shrug and say, “Well I played my part, but it’s not like I can actually control their actions, so it’s not my fault she came back.”
Ya, now that I think about it. It would be quite silly for Mr. Gold to want Emma to lose her job, but maybe the deal is worth more than her job on the other hand.
[adrotate group="5"]sam993ParticipantThanks to sjm’s suggestion, I’m gonna call that Regina really wants to get Emma fired and that’s why she made that deal. In the end, MM will be proven innocent and Emma will have her badge taken away.
Also, random calling it, but Emma will get shot. Someday.
sam993ParticipantI think Mr. Gold is double crossing both of them, which is essentially what everyone is saying. That he is working for himself. This is going to be a stretch, but I think that Mr. Gold agreed with Regina to get Emma out of the job. As in, Regina planted the evidence not to make MM’s life miserable and arrest her (but that must have been one of the perks), but to make Emma look bad. Mr. Gold planted the key so that MM will leave and not come back, which would get Emma fired. Like he said in the beginning of the show, if she didn’t find MM, then she can kiss her badge goodbye.
I also think that Mr. Gold will in the end, make both Regina and Emma happy. He will prove MM’s innocence and get Emma fired.
sam993ParticipantAbsolutely loved when we see MM’s prison cell was empty. It was an extremely well played moment. We were all stunned and I felt it was an amazing climax. It took me awhile to think about this, but I feel that MM is stepping out of her shell. I think she is going to remember everything by the end of the season. Let’s face it, mousy, shy Mary Margaret would have never left the cell, but Snow White would have. She’s getting closer to her true self unlike some other prince who’s like going in the opposite direction.
sam993ParticipantRegina planted the heart to make Snow look bad. I don’t think it’s anyone’s heart in particular, but who knows. I think Kathryn is quite fine…well, not fine anyways, probably kidnapped and kept hostage. David needs a heart to love MM. And I believed if the Queen had Charming’s heart before curse took place than she would have done some crazy stuff to him. My theory is the heart is Regina because she looks like she doesn’t have one. Maybe it silly for me to say that because I believe she loves Henry, but at the same time she doesn’t love people quite well or doesn’t seem to know how to love.
sam993ParticipantI agree with most of what you guys are saying. I feel that because Prince Charming was in a “dream state” almost (I say almost because he could have been on his death bed kissing the earth goodbye as he floats to heaven or to whatever) just before the curse hits, he may have been able to retain some memories, but the curse is trying to stop him from remembering and he may be battling with the curse within himself. You can compare it to how Graham had been before he died. He saw Emma was angry with him and that brought up negative mojo. How he was so confused, regretful, and was looking for answers . He was trying to understand why he couldn’t feel anything for Regina. Perhaps when David was full of concern with Kathryn, it brought back terrible emotions that is driving him to try and remember what is going on within him. He’s looking for answers, basically, and that’s why he’s like going nuts. Gosh, someone needs to tie him down or something. Can’t have the pretty face getting scratches.
sam993ParticipantWhat I find really funny about Gaston was that he waited a couple of months till he tried rescuing Belle. I assume he was practicing his entrance. Nah, Rumple turn Gaston into a flower. No doubt in my mind. The Evil Queen said that he went missing. Plus, Rumple may have wanted Belle all to himself.
