Oh man you certainly delved into it didn’t you?  Haha.  So I think you mean Arnold, not Albert.  I spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out who you were talking about.  Anyway, I’m going with Arnold being the one in her head telling her to shoot.  This show certainly makes you think.  I thought Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Wright got to show some of their acting ability this week and they were quite good.  Bernard really is trekking down a path he shouldn’t and I wonder where this is going to take us.  Count me intrigued on all accounts.  I just want more man in black.

A&E also got a question like this recently asking if they would ever explore the idea of the curse never happening and seeing what would have played out.  If they incorporate a genie (which I think they have said in the past they didn’t want to do because of Robin Williams), that would open the door to so many possibilities.  Like how much power does a genie have?  And I agree that it’s likely named after the Pink Floyd song.  They do this like every year now it seems.

Ok, but before. she taught as Mary Margaret.  Even in season 4 she still clung on to the persona.  She now has fully done away with Mary Margaret and has embraced teaching as SNOW WHITE.  I think it is different and I’m not sure the inconsistencies are valid.  And even though she taught in season 4, we didn’t see her actually teaching the kids in the classroom and doing a lesson.  It was really nice I thought.

I think Aladdin is trapped in a cave under storybrooke, like the cave in the movie.  And that’s why the episode coming up was supposed to be called diamond in the rough.  And I think the Oracle is Jafar still but then that would mean Jasmine is working with him and why would he want to help Jasmine find Aladdin?

I liked everything except Jekyll going from accidental killer to full blown trying to murder Belle.  It was a fast jump but the twist was great and the flashbacks were the best so far this season.

Really dislike the idea that in order to kill the doppelganger you have to kill the original. They are the same person! They are two sides of the same coin; one isn’t more powerful or more “real” than the other. It’s about integration and learning to temper both sides of yourself. So Hyde is, ipso facto, which also means that the Evil Queen is less “real” than Regina but…that’s a really silly way to go. They are one and the same. Regina is the Evil Queen, always. It’s about learning to keep the darkness at bay and listening to your “higher angels.”

Isn’t this the exact reason why killing the original should kill the doppelganger?  If they truly are the same person, then when you kill Regina, it should kill the EQ too.  Since this is not how Regina is going to go, I don’t think, they are going to do exactly what you say above.  They are going to put the EQ back into Regina and Regina will learn to temper it.  I’m confused as to why if you think that Regina and the EQ are one and the same, that killing Regina wouldn’t kill the EQ as well?  It’s not really “killing” the EQ as it is just killing Regina and her soul.  Her soul consists of the EQ persona and the Regina persona.  However, with her ripping apart the EQ persona, it is wreaking havoc.  But to make that persona go away, you have to kill the original or put it back into her.  It makes total sense to me.  But again, they will find a way to put the EQ persona back into Regina and she will have to learn to cope with it and that will be the message.

But the CGI, we will see.  I’m excited to see the hourglass.  It’s a pretty iconic scene with Jasmine stuck in there.  Now what’s up with the cave Emma and company are going through?  Is that the cave from the movie and is that cave under storybrooke somewhere?  And are they having Aladdin be stuck there like he was in the movie but this time, there was no genie to break him out?  And is that why they were originally going to call this episode the diamond in the rough bc Aladdin is the diamond trapped in this cave under storybrooke?

This promo made me cringe. Aladdin is too enthusiastic and the CGI looks more terrible than Aladdin’s 90’s computer game.

See I completely disagree.  Aladdin in the movie was eccentric and loud and boisterous and funny and sarcastic.  Aladdin in OUAT, if they are going for a direct movie interpretation, they need to make him a little goofy.  It’s sort of what attracted Jasmine to Aladdin in the first place: that he was just himself in his own quirky way.

Yeah to me this ship is done.  And the writers have basically told us such.  And I agree, that dock scene, was a turning point.  But it’s not that the writers don’t know how to write a romantic relationship properly.  That’s just not what this is.  If we’re going to be realistic here, not every relationship is ponies and unicorns.  This is an abusive one, with many things at play and the slow demise up to this dock scene I feel has been written quite fine actually.  And yes, there is a blame on both sides, just like in any relationship.  However this whole episode was so in character for Rumple.  All you people who say Rumple has been character assassinated over the years have to point out when the character is done well too.  Rumple has been a bad person but he always did what he did for his family, specifically his son.  And here, what he did to Belle was horrible but he did it to try and protect her in his own twisted way.  So to me, this was a perfect example of Rumple being himself and Belle realizing he really just will never change.
