He gives her a choice: meet me if you want. To talk. Maybe not as pushy as I read it at first. Atta boy.

I already know that people are going to say that Hook is in pain over loosing Emma–or thinking that he lost Emma–but you don’t do what he did.

Yep I’m already seeing it on tumblr now… 🙁 Seriously I can’t see any sort of reasonable justification if he wants to win Emma’s love fairly? It’s really grasping at straws now if not already…

It was fascinating seeing how Snow’s past came right around to Emma’s present in waiting for the bad stuff to happen and forgetting to enjoy the good stuff.

Funny how Snow’s past is catering to Emma’s dilemma about happy moments and more specifically SF pairing. 😉 I hate how others are ripping apart the Charming for “pushing” Emma towards Neal. That is not what they are doing at all. They just want Emma to have her happy moment, and they see that she’s too afraid to.

I am filled with bad thoughts now after seeing that promo clip. I don’t know how I am going to get to sleep tonight 🙁 While there were a lot of good SF moments (those daddycharming scenes) tonight, it’s upsetting to think it’s doom and gloom for whatever relationship comes first if going by the usual love triangle pattern. Emma looked really conflicted throughout the episode. I don’t think part 1 is going to end on a good note for us 🙁

Don’t worry. I know that it won’t be an easy road for them. But it wouldn’t be TL if it was. Whatever Emma overcomes I think it’ll make her 10x more grateful, when she finally let’s herself have her happy moment. *cough* Neal *cough* We know that whenever Emma doubts herself, she always comes back fighting stronger then ever and eventually defeating her fears. She’s gonna overcome this new obstacle, I know it.

Ok, first of all let me preface this by saying I’m DELIGHTED with the CS development in this episode.

HOWEVER this episode was very weak for me on many, many fronts. I don’t know if it’s the writer or not (he wrote The Outsider which was a big fat “meh” for me) but there was a severe lack of emotional depth to this episode.

The only time I actually felt ANYTHING was at the big reunion at the start, the Emma/Panry moment at the town line, and when my poor Killy was hurting so badly. I felt absolutely nothing when Blue died – and it’s a frigging DEATH even if it’s Blue there should be an EMOTIONAL edge and I just felt like it was really bad writing or something. Anyway I AM ALREADY OVER THIS EPISODE, like it literally has no real lingering affects, A&E have written next weeks episode, and it looks like CS are going to get a good romantic moment in it AND I SCREAMED SO HARD WHEN I SAW THAT 1 SECOND CLIP OF CAPTAIN SWAN I SWEAR. A&E never let us down lol.

OMG did anyone else catch where Killian stopped Sneezy from sneezing with his HOOK? Can i just say how FREAKING ADORABLE THAT WAS

SO, onto the CaptainSwanFire triangle (ugh can I just say ugh)

I’d like to take a moment to scream about how NEAL AND SNOW AND TO SOME EXTENT CHARMING ARE COMPLETELY IGNORING WHAT EMMA WANTS I MEAN REALLY JUST TAKE YOUR ASSUMPTIONS AND SHOVE THEM IN THE TOILET PLEASE.

    Ok

The “back off” conversation. We can only hope that this convo will appease SF shippers but no doubt they’ll twist it into some nefarious dastardly plot *rolls eyes*. I love that he’s giving SF a chance – because he’s all for what EMMA wants. And he was the only one in this episode to acknowledge that to me. And that’s what A&E have been saying lately – that it’s all about Emma, what she wants. Snow and Neal are ignoring what Emma is saying and it irritates me no end. Like to me, she basically looked uncomfortable the whole time everyone was trying to shove her towards Neal.

I liked the father/daughter moment – I loved the way Emma brought up Hook to him. Like to me that just proves that along with her Henry problem she was also wrestling with her own feelings for Killian and Neal. It’s fairly obvious to me, anyway, because she didn’t show up for the date.

Anyway, basically Killian knows it’s not going to happen. See, what I actually love about his line “I’m here for the long haul, and you’ve already left her once” – classic Killian sass – is that it SCREAMS endgame to me. You know, kind of like everything else we’ve been shown this season. I love that he hit Neal with that one – because it is something else that Snowing haven’t really acknowledged. And I have a feeling that the constant prodding of Snowing to shove Emma towards Neal is what’s going to bring the whole jail/abandonment thing out into the open.

In that scene just before the CaptainFire convo we also got an Emma glance – she felt Killian watching her, glanced in his direction and quickly looked away again. That screams sexual tension to me – I don’t know what you guys think. Lol.

Agh my poor Killy. In sooooooo much pain. He was quite obviously tipsy at the very least in that scene with Tink. He hasn’t had a drink since Good Form when Pan accused him of having a drinking problem and now his feelings for Emma have literally driven him to drink.

Then the trying to have sex with Tink, I cringed for him, not because it’s out of character, but because it’s a defense mechanism we haven’t seen from him in a while. He used heavily laden innuendo with Emma to conceal the fact that she had hurt him all the way up to 2×12. He used his “pretty face” to try to manipulate Cora into allying herself with him again. And he used his sexuality with Regina in 2×22 when he subsequently manipulated and tricked her. He was hurting so badly in that scene and I just felt for him so much. He was looking for escape from his feelings for Emma with Tink through empty sex. Tink even called him out on this, and basically said the equivalent of “you’re not interested at all, you’re just hurting because you lost your love”.

I loved the scene when Emma asks about what Tink and Hook have been doing!!!!!!! His “perhaps” – you could really see the jealousy on her face. It’s important to note, I think, that they took time to show this scene when Blue was dying in the background. Like to me that says a lot.

So sad for Emma that she feels like she can’t have good moments, and this episode WAS ALL ABOUT THE MOMENTS – BUT i would love to point out here that the only moment she has had to let her hair down a bit this season WAS WHEN SHE KISSED KILLIAN. WHEN SHE WAS FEELING “GOOD”. Like that is literally the only time in this whole season where she felt like she could have some time to acknowledge her own wants. AND WHAT I ALSO LOVE IS THAT KILLIAN CALLED THE KISS “OUR SHARED MOMENT” in 3×07, and episode that was all about the triangle. Haha, I’m FINE

A bit disappointed that A&E seem to be going the whole “triangle” route properly, i was hoping they would shut it down soon. Because ALL the shippy moments for each side are FREAKING TAINTED with this triangle and honestly it’s exhausting.

Also Emma is not the savior to Neal, she is just his Emma

    *hugs this quote*

And that’s what Emma needs. She needs to be Emma for a change–not the savior, but just Emma. She wants those moments, those moments in between saving the world. And Neal can give them to her.

I don’t see SF happening anytime soon either. I think CS will come first. But I wonder if Hook would make it past season 3 on the show. I wonder if he will A) die a redeem hero’s death or B)sail off with his ship.

I agree Tink and Hook (storywise makes the most sense to me) but to say I’m backing off and in it for the long haul then say hey Tink lets sleep together just put me off?
Tink still had her dignity and said “no” which was sweet. (Although, I still think they have slept together while in Neverland.)

Also Neal is in it for the long haul as well. Emma was no hit it and quit for Neal, she was the love of his life. He didn’t leave her because he was bored, scared or tired. He left Emma, so that she can get back to her family and saved her people. He thought about her everyday since the day he left her.

Also Emma is not the savior to Neal, she is just his Emma.

I know sisters its seem hard, but good things come to those who wait.

So much for no trickery lol ‘perhaps’ really Hook?! I get that his coping mechanism for his pain is to get with other girls, but I thought he would have made some development and wouldn’t have reverted back to his old ways (I am glad he didn’t though because I loved S2 Hook haha). I think we have seen the last of his ‘backing of’ if you can call it that.

Hook was in pain and decided that drink and a romp with Tink would cure it–which is emotionally jarring and scary and not the basis for a lasting relationship to the point where when he could have TOLD THE TRUTH THAT NOTHING HAPPENED HE UP AND LIED TO MAKE HER JEALOUS! What?! UGH. So every single time Emma might be with Neal (the father of her child) he’s going to get sullen and drink and sleep around? Not cool. Not cool at all. They are going to be around each other, Hook. They have a child. You can’t keep butting in trying to get her attention by any means possible. Grow. Up.

(this Hook rant may continue for several days. I’m sorry)

I thought the first part was him giving Emma and Neal a chance for the sake of Henry. I think his plan is to let her see who she’ll be happier with on her own. The part with Tink was two things for me, one helping himself take his mind off of Emma and secondly maybe trying to make Emma a little jealous.

I like the idea of him letting Emma see who she’ll be happier with on her own. I really do believe she’ll realize that she and Neal aren’t right for each other anymore. The Tink thing…I totally understand him wanting to take his mind off Emma, but I was hoping he’d have a little more faith that things are going to work out between them in the end. I thought he’d wait patiently since he said he’s in it for the long haul.  If things had actually escalated with Hook and Tink, I would have been SO disappointed with the writers. I’m glad it didn’t though.

I didn’t enjoy the Hook/Tink scene either.  He looked drunk and miserable. However, it did give us some indication that their history on the island was more than just platonic.  The only good outcome of all of that for me was Emma’s reaction to seeing Hook and Tink together. Now that was priceless!

As for Hooks conversation with Neal, that was certainly not what I expected. He was trying to do the right thing for Emma and Henry. It just fell kind of flat for me.

I’ll have to do a rewatch.
