as far as i’m concerned, unless English isn’t your first language, there is no way to misinterpret what Emma said. It was very, VERY straighforward to me. She hoped he was dead because his presence causes her pain. End of story.

I totally agree. And Killian will also help her through it, he was her rock in NL (no matter what anyone says, i can think of at least 5 times where she was depending on him there just off the top of my head – pretty sure there’s more) and i think he’ll be her rock through what’s coming. They’re facing an “epic struggle” together after all!

I think Emma will be fine too. If the death is truly story driven and Emma’s already said that she wished that Neal “died” the first time, that was a trick because it’ll be easier for her to move on — this time because it is a real death, because she’s already experienced loss with him, it will be easier. She’ll probably still grieve, that’s to be expected but it’ll be easier this time.
