What if the HO is OZ?
I’ve been speculating for awhile now that one of the heads of the Home Office, if not the current head, was Dorothy. There have been many Oz references his season and I think it makes sense if Dorothy’s time in Oz was more negative.
There’s no place like Home Office. π I’ve love it if Dorothy and the Wizard were tied up in this somehow.
Love it!
RG you’re right, I keep forgetting she probably wasn’t under the 28 year freeze like everyone else but she should still be alive and I could totally see her connected to all of it.

Well here’s some timeline goodness for you then RG. We know that around the time that Jefferson was getting Frankenstein to help con Regina (who was just becoming the queen so may 10 years pre-curse…) Jefferson was bringing Rumple stuff from Oz because Rumple asked about the slippers but they had already been used by the time he got there….so maybe a late 20s / early 30s at most Dorothy! (Depending on how old they make her when she goes to Oz but still…totally plausible she’s still around and fairly young).

MysteryKat25ParticipantActually AllThatGlitters – we've been told there would be a “breathtaking scene” and that some interaction is “important” and “awesome” – not sure if any of those overlap but they will have some interaction. It bugs me that they're acting like it's not romantic if it doesn't mean that there's a kiss, or a romantic declaration, but I'm ok with subtlety right now, I don't want him to be a rebound for Emma.
I agree that there’s so much going on with everything else that nothing overly romantic could or should happen right now, especially with the events of last week, but we should definitely see them together.

Guys, guys, if you scroll through the comments to Colin’s recent TVLine interview to Comment by Matt Webb Mitovich β May 10, 2013 06:59 AM PDT, he has an interesting CS teaser.
Colin and I discussed Hookβs assorted romantic options, but since thatβs not relevant to the finale, Iβll pass along his thoughts sometime during the summer hiatus.
Comment by Matt Webb Mitovich β May 10, 2013 06:59 AM PDT REPLY TO THIS POSTThanks Obisgirl! I didn’t really expect any full on CS to be possible in the finale because of the last ep but hopefully there are some good teases over the summer letting us know what Hook is thinking.
They may try and do a separate triangle of some kind between Emma, Hook, and Ariel if the Hookriel people get their wishes (for now that’s a backup for me, waiting to see how old the actress cast is etc etc) but I still really want CaptainSwan.
I’m trying to take everything with a grain of salt. We’ve been led astray before by info that wasn’t official / on the show / by someone in charge. I don’t count actors even though I love the interviews and the theorizing off of it just because they know what they’re told and most of that is how to play the scene.
I’ll agree with what MRJ *actually* said in the interview that just came out that Emma is the love of Neal’s life (as much as I’ve shipped young Bae with just about anybody else…), but he did clarify at the end of the paragraph that he doesn’t know what that means down the line, just that in that moment he’s letting go of the hand of the woman he loves. MRJ is awesome at getting into his character’s head and I can see him thinking that (even though I still have issues with NealFire’s stupid moments / moments that contradict everything else…) I do think ultimately he cares about Emma.
Whether that plays out or not remains to be seen so trying not to let my hopes be dashed for CaptainSwan while at the same time hoping that by saying things like that he’s not getting SwanFire hopes up too high either – CaptainSwan people know what it’s like to be jerked around like that and it’s not fun!
*Still waiting on the Colin and Jennifer interview from Keck*…even though I’m afraid to trust anything from the actors (we need to SEE things on screen to make it legit…), I still want little teases from them…acknowledgement of a scene together would be good, we haven’t had one in ages. GRR

May 10, 2013 at 4:58 pm in reply to: OUAT’s Micheal Raymond James Teases Wormhole Destination #192828MysteryKat25ParticipantGreat interview. He gets a litttttle into his character when talking about stuff though lol (just something I noticed – it switches from Neal needs to do that to I need to do this).
Interesting quotes for sure but some things to remember (so we never think anybody lied to us – this applies to everyone that is interviewed) is that:
1) Actors only know so much (I think those scenes were filmed for this ep but if there was a scheduling conflict for the others then it could maybe be for start of season and was just filmed when they could get everybody together – I don’t think that’s the case but we’ll have to wait and see)
2) Everybody looks at things from their character’s point of view AND based off of what they know which is very little, especially come finale time
3) The actors are not H&K – usually they know their characters better than anyone…except the writers. They don’t know the future but they know how they were directed to feel in a specific scene at the time. The actors saying anything does not make it canon (nor do what the writers say sometimes though that is at least more likely). Anything that is going to happen and have a lasting effect needs to be seen ON SCREEN (and frankly I think we can at least agree we want that! – Also look at how screwy the timeline is because of interviews that meant well: We have Bobby saying 300, Colin saying “however old he is,” Bae saying he’d be 200 years old if he hadn’t spent time in Neverland but seemingly shows up in a very early 1900s-ish London etc etc etc)
4) CONTEXT* – don’t hate me, I thought the quote was sweet especially since they have set up SwanFire so far and it’s cute to see MRJ so into his character and rooting for him to such a degree but you can’t stop something partway through the paragraph! (He does specifically say he doesn’t know if that will mean anything down the road but to him, especially at the moment of this interview…Emma is the love of Neal’s life). I can see that for sure based off what we know right now. But he doesn’t actually confirm that that’s what he’s been told, what they’re trying to do, etc. etc.*This applies to EVERYBODY on the show, not any one character, ship, etc. All of the fandom are prone to doing this and most get ripped to shreds for using quotes from the show for their ship that, when taken in context, don’t mean quite what they think it means…just trying to be fair and point this out. I do think his quote in this particular instance gave a lot of people hope and my hope is that it’s not in vain for fans of the ship buying into the actor’s perspective of it rather than what we are eventually shown – especially since he probably doesn’t know a lot about next year. It made sense that they told Emma her ex was Rumple’s son. There’s no way they told anybody who has to end up together outside of the canon Disney couples ie: Snowing, RumBelle, etc. so we need to see it all play out.
That being said it was a cute interview with some intriguing thoughts and good character analysis. MRJ does a great job with really getting inside NealFire’s head.

MysteryKat25ParticipantI’m watching the Disney version of Peter Pan for the first time in ages and I just thought I’d share / remind everyone that there IS a red-headed mermaid in Mermaid Lagoon. Ship away…

MysteryKat25ParticipantThat’s an interesting idea too Lisa!
Speaking of the shadow…I’m watching Peter Pan right now (Disney version) and Wendy just told Peter that she has his shadow and says “I do hope it isn’t rumpled.” Oh the irony…

MysteryKat25ParticipantAgreed (and by the way I love Chloe/Oliver as well!) π

MysteryKat25ParticipantI’ve enjoyed lots of shows and shipped various couples along the way but never in such a devoted way and finding others who feel the same…it’s taken TV to a wholeeee new level but it’s fun! π

MysteryKat25ParticipantYou’re all in good company π I just recently turned 27. This is my first real fandom I’ve been involved with so I’m getting used to all of the fangirling ways but Hook is definitely worth it!
