ParticipantAnyone else hear the Days Of Our Lives theme in their heads? “Like sands through the hourglass” INDEED. đ

ParticipantEpic episode is epic.
That pretty much sums it up for me, yep.
After my first watch, the only nit I really have to pick is that the problem of Charming being stuck there was so easily solved. Rumple being able to make a potion to save him felt just as plot device-y as Blue and her potion to change Lacey back into Belle, and because it’s ended this way, the whole of Charming’s little plot just feels anti-climactic.

ParticipantI wanna say that the black sail is to do with the Shadow. But then what’s with the pixie dust?

ParticipantI was so glad to see an explanation of what pixie dust is, and that it’s something totally different to fairy dust.

ParticipantCount me as another who LOVED when Neal told his father that he wasnât making any more dealsâŚhe was going to help Emmaâs father because it was the right thing to do. I did see Emmaâs face during that part and she looked surprised and overwhelmed by Neal standing up to his papa that way. GO NEAL!!!

I just loved Neal in this ep. He's pretty much lost faith in his old man, but standing up to him like that he was giving him an eleventy frillionth chance to make the right choice and turn it around. Neal's trying to do better himself, to make up for his own mistakes, and he's also still standing strong for the sake of his father's soul at the same time too.Phee
ParticipantTheory- the shadow is the sandman. Iâm not convinced it is against Malcolm/Pan. While it said Malcolm didnât belong, it also assisted in turning him to Pan.7
Did it assist Malcolm or did it just tell Malcolm what needed to be done thinking that Malcolm would never go through with it?
That’s a hell of a gamble for the Shadow to take. The Shadow can cart people out of NL, it did so with LittleRumple. So if the Shadow just wanted Malcolm gone, he could have carted them both outta there. Instead, we got the situation that allowed Malcolm to stay, and become a powerful little egomaniac. The Shadow showed Pan the hourglass, which is what set him off on his little mission to find a way around it. Why didn’t the Shadow just let Pan live out his days, and eventually fade away? The Shadow wanted Pan to see that hourglass. I am suspicious of the Shadow’s motives.
So whoâs shadow is Neal carrying around in the coconut?! I think my brain is still exploded from the episode tonight. Is it Panâs or did they actually capture THE shadow that helped create Malcolm Pan?
Yeah I’m wondering that as well.

ParticipantLittle SF moment that I loved was when Regina and Emma were starting to do the moon magic, and Neal instantly got up and walked around behind them. I could hear him thinking, “I’ve got your back, Emma,” and he was gonna be there to catch her if she needed it, because he’d already seen her thrown backwards onto the ground that day. It’s split second, blink and you’ll miss it, but when he standing behind them, he’s watching the moon, and his eyes dart really quickly to Emma, then back to the moon, like he’s checking that she’s handling it OK.

ParticipantThe spinners were so suspect. They kinda reminded me a bit of Jiminy’s parents, though not as mean because they weren’t trying to hurt anyone, but they just seemed like a sneaky pair.
Which goes back to the theory many of us have that the BF knows magic is dying and is trying to save it in order to save herself.
Maybe she broke a rule, similar to how Malcolm did, and she had her own oversized hourglass.

ParticipantCount me as another one who was staunchly TeamBrothers, but ended up liking the way they did PapaPan.
The main reason the theory wasn’t working for me was that I couldn’t figure how Malcolm could de-age, tie himself to NL, have that sever the father/son relationship, but still have Malcolm keep his memories, and still have Rumple recognise Pan as someone he’d known as a child. But they answered all of that by having it happen in NL, and having Rumple see him transform.
I’d also been stumped as to why Malcolm would have changed his name to Peter Pan, but they covered that as well, when he took the name of Rumple’s doll.
Malcolm really is a piece of work, all these years later, and he’s still just as selfish as ever, still with no regard for the life of his own family.
Loved how they had things in the Malcolm/Rumple relationship parallel things that happened between Rumple/Bae. Adds a whole new layer of anguish to what Rumple’s been through.

ParticipantDoes anyone know the name of the actor who played The White King? I havenât been able to find it anywhere?
Garwin Sanford. Haven’t seen his name credited for the role anywhere online, but his name was one of the guest stars at the start of the ep, and his face popped up when I googled the name.
