I’ve always just figured that the bean will take you where you want/need to go. Hook said, “We’re going to Neverland,” and went to Neverland. Bae thought, “I don’t want to lose my Papa and be all alone in the world,” and it sent him where Lost Boys go. Cora said, “Storybrooke, here we come,” and it took them to Storybrooke. I imagine any time a Giant used a bean, or any time anyone who stole a Giant’s bean used it, they just had to think of the land they wanted to go to, and that’s where it took them.

The portal that Snow and Emma used to get home was a whole different brand of portal. Just like the wardrobe itself was its own brand of portal. Just like the hat is its own brand of portal. All the different types don’t work exactly the same.

The compass was needed with the portal made from leftover wardrobe ashes. You don’t need a compass when you use a fully functioning bean portal.

Hook bursting in on the birthday party is a definite possibility IMO. That would be much more awesome than the whole scene being a dream.

That’s a great theory, would love to see something like that. I really hope we get a Blue ep towards the beginning of season 3, because I feel like there’s gotta be so much more to her story and it’s starting to bug me that they haven’t coughed up more information about her history yet.

Rini and RumpleLove, I’m glad your loved ones are safe.

It happened about 5am my time. I was on Twitter because one of my fave singers was running the marathon. One moment the fandom was tweeting him congratulations for having run such a great race and come in under the 4 hour mark. The next moment everyone was in a panic, (thankfully he quickly checked in to let us know he and his family were safe). Some fans tweeted that the fact he ran such a good time saved their lives. They’d been standing right where the bomb went off to watch him finish about 5 minutes before it happened.

So scary and such senseless violence. 🙁 My thoughts and prayers are with the city of Boston, (a place of which I have many fond memories), and especially those directly affected by this tragedy.

Which would be terribly sad, especially considering Greg leaves town in the finale. Greg would have to be pretty dumb to find a space filled with secret cells and not search every one for his father. And even though he’s getting it on with Tamara, I don’t think he’s completely brainless.

2) Could Regina send Kurt to another land? Magic hasn’t totally dwindled out of SB. She still had some magical objects, like she used in An Apple as Red as Blood to get the hat to work.

3) Could Regina have erased Kurt’s memories?

4) Did Regina take Kurt’s heart and then kill him?

Dunno if she’d have had the magic for any of those. Unless the reason she had barely any left by the time we met her is because she used it all up on Kurt years earlier.

I’m really curious to know what’s running through Hook’s mind in that scene where he’s looking at Regina, because what he wants and if he has even the slightest change of heart will impact on whether or not Rumple is under a real threat of being tasered. Maybe that thing would kill him? When the legend of the Dark One was born, it didn’t exactly take into account electrical devices that can suck magic, so the usual rules may not apply now with this new weapon in the mix.

I’m almost more willing to believe that they’re not under the hospital because trying to figure out where Kurt is if he’s not under the hospital is just baffling. Because if he had left SB, he would have found Owen and Regina couldn’t send him someplace else, right?
So then where are they? Maybe they steal the equipment and are in the mayor’s office?

Too dark and plain to be her office or home. The walls look like a decent match to the colour of the hospital basement walls IMO. There’s one shot of Greg where the wall behind him looks rough, sort of like rock, which suggests they may be underground at some point. There’s a shot of Tamara with a smooth, plain wall, with a pattern like shafts of light through a window, similar to what we saw in Belle’s cell. And the shot of Hook looking down on Regina, the walls are definitely plain and grey and cold looking. That shot in particular feels like the hospital basement to me. They’d no doubt want to lock her up between capturing her and shocking her, so again, the basement cells makes sense. Also, it would be sort of fitting if Regina ends up as a prisoner down there herself, especially if this is something we end up seeing in an ep about Belle.

I don’t think Greg has any reason to work with Tamara after they find Kurt, or rather she doesn’t need him anymore. I think Tamara will turn on Greg as soon as it is convenient for her.

Which is why I was wondering where their lair is, because if it’s under the hospital, (they may well have electro-shock equipment down there, because Nurse Ratched loved that stuff), then that probably means Kurt isn’t there like everyone has assumed, because if Kurt was down there too, they would have found him. What we’ve seen of Greg in the finale doesn’t suggest that he’s found his dad and wants to stay with him. So either they’re not under the hospital, or we were all wrong about what happened to Kurt, which in turn begs the question of what did happen to him?
