Hmmm. Upon further reflection, I don’t know what she meant by that quote. Pretty sure I heard it from Paley, so I guess it could mean either this season or episodes to air very soon. Oh goody! Maybe this means that my theory about it being David’s heart still hold some weight!

Mainly, we know Emma sent out the heart for DNA (I presume) testing to see who’s heart it is. If it does come back as David’s then that is going to raise huge glaring neon red flags in Emma’s mind about what/who the people of SB actually are. And we know from interviews that the actress who plays Emma says her character isn’t going to start believing Henry anytime soon…SO, having a heart in a box of a man who is still alive and well goes against this. I’m slowly coming around to it being Katherine’s heart (but I think Katherine is locked in the psych basement with Belle)
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I think it has to do with the after math of Snow drinking Rumple’s potion. I think it’s going to change her into some sort of “dark” Snow. That would parallel nicely to what’s going on in SB with MM being arrested for supposed murder.

It’s like he doesn’t even know her. He comes across as someone who is being manipulated or controlled from afar. Even if he had crossed some sort of magical boundary into FTL wouldn’t he still have known Snow/MM? I’d really like to see sometime in FTL if there was a period right after Regina removed the Huntsman heart if he went through something similar. If there was a period where he was a sort of zombie, like David.

Regina not being able to do magic just doesn’t fit with her overall characterization: power hungry and obsessed with getting her way. I think she worked the curse so that she could keep her powers as well as her memory. I just don’t think she would rob herself of her powers.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"If the heart is Katherine’s, which is is neck and neck in my mind with it being David’s heart, then how do we account for David’s strange behavior. We know that people without their hearts can still be walking around SB, Graham is an excellent example. However, David’s mood does fluctuate back to “normal” after the episode in the woods with MM. What happens when he goes into these coma like trances?? Is it possible that his mind reverts to be Charming/James? The question then is also how did MM’s fingerprints get on the box. Which is why I think Regina had to somehow magically manipulate MM in SB to holding the box, and probably burying it.

But, because of how strange he was acting in the woods vs. how he was acting normally in SB, I think Regina removed his heart very VERY recently. As in, some point during this episode that we never saw. As far as MM’s fingerprints being on the box…is it possible that Regina has some sort of magical control over MM and got her to do the deed of ripping out David’s heart without her MM knowing/remembering? Thus, Regina could have MM take the fall for Katheryn’s disappearance AND have David under her control thus ensuring that their happily ever after really can’t come true. I’m sure there are a lot of holes in that theory but I think it’s gotta come down to Regina somehow.

I think if we look at the jail scene in Skin Deep, to me, it becomes clear that he’ll give up his power for Belle. If we take the myth of Rumple (the actual Grimm fairy tale) as canon, his name is his power. Guess his name and his power is gone. He tells Regina his name (gives up his power) for a symbolic representation of Belle (the cup): and we know that Belle means more to him than anything, he literally placed her on pedestal in FTL. It’s my opinion that this scene might be foreshadowing some sort of second show down between the Queen and Rumple, except this time is would be his actual magical power and the real live Belle.
