Honestly, we had the whole Evil vs Wicked thing between Regina and Zelena just this Spring, so having a focus be Regina vs Elsa would have been redundant. Yes Regina has the most vocal fanbase within the fandom, but she’s not the only character on this show. So Elsa and Emma interacting is something I am totally all for.

is going to help his other mother, Regina,

    Wait a minute….wait a minute….somebody’s playing a joke right?

Did they….I mean seriously….this is exactly what the Evil Regals were talking about! How can you refer to Regina as the “other” mother….such a dismissive term. She just couldn’t be his mother….she had to be the other mother, the mother who raised him single handily from birth for ten years through holidays, colds, fevers, sickness, school years, baby years with diapers and spit ups! And they call her the “other” mother!!!!!!

Then….Emma and Elsa! It makes it seem like, Emma is the only real person Elsa bonds with, that Emma’s the only person Elsa has in common with. Now….if we go down the list, Emma has two things in common with Elsa…..uncontrollable powers and….ummm….I’m sure it’s something else. Oh yeah, and they’re both the elder siblings. But….you know what, I used to think it was just because I’m an Evil Regal, but social media has shown Once Fans having more interest in Regina and Elsa interaction. I mean Two Queens who both once felt like prisoners in their own kingdom, great magical power, obvious history with Rumpelstilskin, both let it go, one is ice and the other is fire, and both have sisters…..(sigh), I mean that’s a lot to bond about over a nice cup of tea. 😛

Once Upon A Time has been on the air for three seasons, and its last season saw a strong increase in its episode ratings, with the season finale garnering the highest episode rating yet, a 9.5 averaged from 855 votes. All of its premieres and finales sit higher than their respective season trendlines too. Its graph is below:

This is not Neilsen Ratings. These are IMDB ratings based on VOTES. So people can vote and S3 was ranked higher for IMDB voters. Neilsen consistently falls, yes.

And anything that you can vote at for unlimited amounts of time is automatically invalid as a way to register anything of value since the same 100 people could be voting their fingers off during that time frame. OUAT has always been popular on social media and online but this year it doesn’t seem as strong so it will actually be interesting to see how many people are tweeting, posting, and talking about it online in S4. (BTW-Matt M. got a question recently about Once’s ratings and showed a graph about how they were pretty steady when you factored in the Live+3 ratings, but the live ratings in general are WAY down from where they once were and IMO, they’re going to go even further down this year whether you add the DVR ratings or not to them because they’ve honked off too many fanbases and I just don’t think the GA cares as much anymore.)

Happy Thursday y’all! I don’t know what time I’ll end up being at the ranch tonight (have to pack for a wedding out of town this weekend and we leave tomorrow after work) but I’ll try to stop by at some point. 😀

I think Labyrinth would be an interesting addition on Once Upon a Time. It’s such a fun movie. I mean, in the EF, you have trolls and giants, why not have a goblin king? And Sarah could easily relate to Emma because Emma thought the whole concept that these people were fairytale characters were odd in season one. I’d like to see Adam and Eddy’s take on that story.

Oh please, keep them away from one of my favorite fantasy movies. Aside of The Dark Crystal. Both directed by Jim Henson. Though the stories of the movies I don’t find even that exceptional or intriguing, but the work with the puppets and cinematography is great. I grew up with Augsburger Puppenkiste and loved marionette theater (they did some productions as well for TV, including a number of fairy tales) .

But couldn’t agree more with Georgina Haig, definitely good to watch.

    ¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

On the more populous and expansive Internet sites, ONCE is enjoying a very healthy fandom that is excited for the approaching new season. Specific to our group(ies) here, Captain Swan has always been very popular and continues to grow. Rumplestiltskin still enjoys quite the cult following and Regina is still a passionate Goddess. The lifeblood of a series is the general public who tune in. ONCE remains quite healthy. The vast majority of fans don’t analyze like we of the Internet Boggling communities do. They just tune in and enjoy the creative ride.

Agreed & Oh how to be a sane ‘general audience’ member- there wasn’t much hope for me with Once lol, I got very excited just by the trailers LOL 😛 But who wouldnt want to analyze the leather right off of our Pirate or Swan or both I ask?! 😉 😉 😉

The introduction of the Frozen story line may have been a stroke of brilliance after all. Here’s hoping a lot of the posters who flocked away due to *everything ONCE* negativity in many other threads here, come back when we get on with the story and the adventures as Adam and Eddie want to tell them.

I think so, I mean POM posted the screwballninja meta on how Frozen isnt just “cashing in” like some of the septic moaners want us to believe, I liked how she said something along the lines of ‘Why is it ok for A&E to use FT from the 80s & 90s, but not recent ones’. I say bring on Frozen & I seriously hope they do Brave as well 😉

Outside the thimble of Internet fan forums, the general public still calls the shots. And they are positive and excited.

As far as Happy Domesticated downtime, I prefer that Hook and Emma go on a dozen rip roaring adventures as the Dynamic Duo of Storybrooke and Beyond that test their love, their commitment and our patience! Drama is…well drama. I like them lusty and sassy… and super connected

    They sure are 🙂
As far as CS goes, I think I could watch them open letters lol 😉 😛

David actually said HE was the Sheriff in 317 when he’s reassuring MM about giving Henry a driving lesson. So I think he assumed that post (again) when Emma wasn’t there after they came back. Maybe they have two sheriffs? He did act as acting sheriff when she was in the EF with MM in S2, too.
