Alright, I’ll play. How about two from every season?

SEASON ONE

–Nealfire and Rumple’s three minute conversation in Manhattan (my all time favorite moment in the entire series)

–Neal tells Emma not to let Henry grow up like they did before he and Emma say “ILY” to each other.

SEASON THREE

–Neal breaks free of Rumple to send a message to Hook to find Emma; a hero until the end.

–Snow and Charming saying goodbye to Emma at the townline before Regina undid her curse.

–Evil Snow and Charming of the “Heroes and Villains” book

SEASON FIVE

–Neal and Emma meet in the bug before the heroes get to the Underworld

That is a very good question. There is no explanation for this. I don’t think that the bean went through time though because the dwarfs would know an older Robyn. I think this is just another instance of the writers forgetting what they said in the episodes right before. The don’t care. There is no plan.

They used the messing up the timeline as an excuse for why they weren’t showing Emma, but they have said it, so we are just supposed to accept it. Now they are moving on and nothing the happened in the past episodes matter.

They can’t go through time though because Ella and Lucy are trapped in the past in the wish realm, not in the future in the wish realm because fake Henry is still young.

I heard it was something about how she is the queen of the multiverse or something utterly bizarre. I don’t know how true that information is, but who knows. I completely agree that it makes no sense at all because Regina has always been the queen of Storybrooke even though that made no sense. It would make so much more sense for Emma to be queen because she was always the one in charge of the group. It almost seems like Regina is just getting a title just so they can give her a big moment and have a big ball for the end of the show.

It does not make any sense at all. Young Henry should never forgive her. How can anyone be queen over multiple realms? What is even the purpose or meaning of that? It just is something they are doing for the fun of it, in my opinion. It makes zero sense.

Oh.

…..how does that work? Hasn’t she been queen for DECADES by this point? What’s she need a coronation for? It’d be better if everyone was being coronated (if mass coronations are a thing?) since Emma and Henry both got left out of the whole royal thing due to the curse and Lucy actually grew up in FTL so she should be getting one anyway.

I know it will come to no surprise to anyone but when all is said and done in a week, I’ll go down swearing that the single biggest mistake on this show was killing Neal. I do not care what A&E says or what ABC / show runners say… Neal dying was because of the stupid way they wrote NEAL/ BAE after they got Hook…. Fan base was so in LOVE WITH HOOK’S looks they started writing him as a love interest for Emma and down grading Neal’s importance. MRJ got tired of the stupidity of the plot and what they were writing for his character so he asked to leave. It was the writers downgrading the importance of his character that lead to him wanting to go. I also think he had to pass on several great parts at the time so he got more discouraged and asked to leave / not renew any contract.

He was stuck in a job no longer fulfilling and wanted to do more relevant work… since he left he has been in some good parts on other shows.

That has been my opinion since he left and I am sticking to it..

I, also, do not get how the coronation is going to make a bit of sense. Emma becoming queen would make sense, but Regina has always been considered the queen even though that never really made sense. Emma has always been the one in charge. Regina becoming queen again, i guess, just seems completely out of left field and i don’t really get it. It just feels like another stomp on Snow and Charming and Emma’s characters to me.

Also, to go into it more, the real problem is that these sort of issues are a symptom of the larger problems on the show. The writers don’t understand their characters. The characters are inconsistent from episode to episode. The timeline is shot. No one is thinking about anything as simple as what would Henry decide to wear and why would he decide that. There is not that little bit of depth to the character. It is that bad.

Sure, Henry looks nice, Emma looks nice, but if they were real people and made decisions about what they would want to wear, it wouldn’t be that. I don’t think Emma would ever wear something she couldn’t run in. I think that it would make a lot more sense for her to be wearing something more like what Charming is wearing. I’ve thought that ever since she first wore a dress in the fairytale land. Ever since they had those promo photos with Emma in Snow’s forest outfit wearing her jeans and boots and holding Charming’s sword. How did Emma never have her own sword?

The writers just don’t get what is interesting even a little bit. They don’t get how these creative choices really flesh out the characters and it is because they don’t think about how their characters think. They just do whatever they want to do based on what they want in their head instead of what the characters would do.

I think that with Henry, he has wanted to be a prince and a warrior and fight the good fight and that what he would choose to wear would be based on that. If the writers were actually writing for the characters then they would do what the characters would do regardless of whether or not that is what the writers want the characters to do.

I hear you, but Henry is not a person. He’s a character on a tv show and in the very last episode we saw our young Henry wearing fairytale clothes in the Enchanted Forest 2. We know that Henry wore fairytale clothes all the way up till he met Ella and the ten years after that with Lucy. It is odd and feels it off character for him to wear that. It is a bad creative choice by the people who make the show.

Incidentally, I also find it extremely out of character for Emma to wear a big flowing white dress. I really can’t believe we never got to see Emma wearing an outfit like Snow’s forest outfit on the show. Emma’s wedding outfit was horrendously out of character.

Henry’s outfit is not that big of a deal, but I think that character has made the choice to live in the Enchanted Forest and an outfit in keeping with that choice would make sense.

At this state event, Henry is wearing the traditional formal garb of his people. On special ritual occasions, women can wear elaborate, ridiculous, ugly garish puffy lacy things — bridesmaids’ dresses, for instance — that they wouldn’t wear in regular life. Emma can wear a fancy dress there even though she probably hates it, and Lucy probably likes dressing as a princess because she’s still a little girl.

Both Henrys (Henries?) have been struggling to live up to expectations — their own, and others’ — and find their roles in life, and making really bad decisions along the way when they’re not trying to be true to themselves. I’m happy to see that adult Henry has accepted where his life as a grown-up has taken him.
