ParticipantWasn’t it Robin Hood who was the archer, not Peter Pan?
Yeah, you’re right. I can’t remember when, if ever, Peter Pan was associated with archery, but I know for sure Robin Hood was. It’s so interesting that Dylan has been taking up archery, and it’d be interesting if Baelfire turns out to be Robin Hood. There is some evidence to suggest that may be the case. In episode 1×19, The Return, when Rumpel and Baelfire are in the woods, there is a group of boys fighting with sticks, which could be a foreshadowing of Robin Hood’s group of merry men. Also, Henry’s mirror had pictures of various fairy-tales back in S1. One of them I identified as being Robin Hood fighting Little John in the same style as we saw the boys fighting in 1×19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_john

I really don’t care about Morraine. She served her purpose. I want Bae’s true love to be Emma, even if he isn’t Henry’s father.
I’ve never really bought into the Baelfire = Emma’s true love. I think it’s more likely that Morraine may be Baelfire’s true love, just because we’ve already seen her twice, in the same episodes as Baelfire. She’s the one who told him about the Blue Fairy. Also, the names “Dark One”, “Baelfire” and “Morraine” are all references to the book series called The Wheel of Time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wheel_of_Time Bae and Morriane seemed linked in my mind. Who knows for sure though? It’s fun just speculating, and it wouldn’t be the first time I’m wrong.

ParticipantWhoever he is, I think the Blue Fairy may know. Before Emma asked about why they haven’t returned to Fairytale Land, The Blue Fairy looks at him, and she looks almost concerned.
Also, I know this has already been said, but I doubt he is evil just from how stunned he looked when he remembered everything. And if he were loyal to Regina, he would have followed after her. Though he could have worked for her and just not be loyal. 😆 But something in the way he looked and held himself, he looked just as lost as everyone. And if were truly evil, why would Regina make him forget? He would have been more useful remembering.

But like others, I’m wrong a lot and can’t wait to find out what really happens. I haven’t been this excited since Harry Potter. The tight plot of OUaT reminds me of what I loved about HP. No matter what you think is going to happen, you are still surprised. You go back and there are clues. Love that.

ParticipantOk, I’m not sure if these are official because I got them off of the IMDb boards. But the girl who posts them is very reliable. 😀
In season two, you will learn more of the back story of..
~ Emma
~ Rumplestiltskin
~ Baelfire/Morraine
~ Cora (Regina’s mother)
~ Henry
~ Regina
~ Possibly Jefferson…
~ And more, but we can’t say who else! The writers are planning on expanding Baelfire and Morraine’s backstory. I never even factored Morraine into the equation. Maybe she and Bae are each other’s true love. And it also makes the “Peter Pan and Wendy” theory sound more and more plausible.
I think we may actually get a shocker out of this storyline. Until a few weeks ago, I was positive that Bae was Henry’s father. Butnow, I’m not so sure. At the moment, I’m stuck between Peter Pan and Jack. Hmmm…

Participant‘Once Upon a Time’ Turns Up the Magic in Season 2
The curse was broken in Storybrooke in the Season 1 finale of “Once Upon a Time,” and not only did the inhabitants get back their memories of their lives in Fairytale Land, but Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) brought magic to town.
“I think [Season 2] is going to be all about exploring the family relationship between — I am going to call them — The Charmings,” says Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White and Mary Margaret. “It is going to be all about exploring magic in this world because magic operates here in a different way. And, as we all remember our dual lives, we are all going to actually be playing a third character because now we are amalgamations of the characters we were playing before but we are still going to be playing those characters separately in flashbacks.”
But of course there’s more. “Once Upon a Time” creators and showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis gave XfinityTV.com the scoop on what we can expect when Season 2 premieres on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8/7c on ABC.
The Power of Magic: “We want to continue to explore the themes of love and magic and the power of magic, and magic as a metaphor for a lot of things in our lives,” Horowitz says. “As we said at the end of Season one, magic is coming. And when that comes, what does it mean when there is a great power, and how does it affect all of these relationships? What is really cool to us is to be able to explore these parental relationships, where you have parents that are contemporaries, and a guy like David [Josh Dallas] who is now a grandfather to Henry [Jared Gilmore].”
New Characters: Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger) and Mulan (Jamie Chung) will join the cast. “We think they come into the show in a very surprising and unique way,” Kitsis says.”Because of that, we don’t want to talk much about it. We are very excited because, like everything we have done, we are not interested in re-telling or showing you the version that you are used to, so we think we have great spins on both characters. What we love is how they will interact with the people we already know and love.”
Big Bad Captain Hook: Another villain will be added now that Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) is set for the season: “Peter Pan is my favorite fairytale,” Kitsis continues. “For the last year, Adam and I could not get the rights, so we have had Captain Hook on our shelf, waiting to come out for a while, so we are really excited to tell his story and how he interacts with our characters.”
Rumple’s Wrench: Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Red Riding Hood (Meghan Ory) have been upgraded to series regulars. And with more Belle comes more drama for Rumpelstiltskin. Says Horowitz, “Rumple [Carlyle] is a man who feels he is incapable of being loved. So what happens when the person he always regretted letting get away comes back? How does that interfere with his ultimate goal? Because he is a man who always chooses between love and power. For us it is also fun because Belle has been in Fairytale Land in a locked asylum so, theoretically, she has never seen a phone, so a parking meter might frighten her.” And as for Belle, Horowitz says, “What we love about Emilie is she is an incredibly versatile actress, so there is so much we are excited to do with the character. What we loved about her interpretation of Belle is she brought something that was uniquely her to it.”
The Return of the Huntsman: Even though the sheriff is definitely dead, Jamie Dornan, who plays him, will be back “We saw him in the finale,” Kitsis points out. “He is still alive as the Huntsman. But we miss Jamie. We designed the character for the arc because we thought as Henry says in the pilot, ‘The battle will begin.’ If no one dies, there are no stakes. So we designed it with Jamie to do the first seven episodes, and we knew going off into winter break, we were going to kill him. The amount of death threats the two of us have received as a result…”
Emma Deals with Guilt: How will Emma [Jennifer Morrison] deal with the fact that she found her parents? “Emma is a character who, her entire life, wanted to meet her parents,” Kitsis says. “She has met them, but this isn’t exactly how she pictured it and this isn’t an easy thing to deal with.”
“Once Upon a Time” returns for its second season on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8/7c on ABC.

ParticipantI felt like it was the first sign that Emma’s presence has a physical effect on this town. I always liken the curse to something magnetic, designed to respond to Emma, the magnet. So Emma sets foot on Storybrooke soil for the very first time ever and sparks fly.
I thought it made sense that her presence alone would do something when her decision to actually stay starts the clock.

ParticipantCopying and pasting my thoughts on this from a post in another thread…
Have come to the conclusion that there are only 2 characters whose names would give away too much if revealed in a casting spoiler: Baelfire (coz obviously everyone’s waiting for him to be announced) and Peter (coz they’ve made no secret that Hook is coming, so it’s reasonable to assume that Peter Pan will be too). I know we’re waiting for a Jack to be cast as well, but that wouldn’t be something they’d feel the need to keep top secret, I wouldn’t think, despite the fact that Jack could potentially be Bae, but revealing a casting for Jack wouldn’t confirm or deny that theory.
Anyway, despite the fact that Bae is the casting that all the fans are anticipating the most, I reckon the reveal of him as Peter would be even bigger, because Peter Pan didn’t age, so if the OUAT version of him looks like this guy, that could give away something huge about how they’re planning on tweaking that story. Add it to the fact that his casting announcement came at the same time as the casting for Hook, and I’m almost willing to put money on the fact that he’s gonna be a grown up Peter Pan.
Also, the more I look at pics of him, the more I reckon he looks like he could be Henry’s father. Though I confess that I may be viewing his pics with a biased eye, because of my theory that Peter Pan stayed in our world and aged and hooked up with Emma.

Why can’t he be Peter, Bae and of course Henry’s father? What if he went to Neverland first and then somehow got sucked into our world.
Peter Pan wouldn’t have to get sucked into our world by nefarious means. He could fly between Neverland and our world, so I think he just stayed here one day, possibly to escape the wrath of Hook.
Bae, Peter and Henry’s father being the same person is also a theory I’ve had in mind, because I was never convinced that Bae definitely came to our world when he went through the beanhole. The more I think about it though, the more I like the idea that Bae and Henry’s father are two different people, with Bae being Emma’s true love.
I also wonder if the magic beans are a one-time use thing. Or like Jefferson’s hat can be used again and again. Maybe there is someone out there collecting beans for a specific purpose.
Interesting thought. Hmmm…it could be risky to send people off with a re-usable bean, because who knows where they’d go and what they’d do with it. Would BF have entrusted such a thing to a child, (and his father who’s known to be powerhungry)? Though going back to the idea of Bae being Peter Pan, maybe the Onceiverse Peter didn’t fly between worlds, maybe he travelled via magical, re-usable bean instead? Or maybe if there’s a physical beanstalk, a fresh crop of magical beans can grow on it?

ParticipantIt was such a noticeable special effects shot I still wonder why they put it in. I don’t think it was ever explained during the season. Did they just add it for a dramatic effect to accompany the door slam or will it turn out to have some significance? I’m guessing it must be there for a reason. What does everyone else think?
Maybe it was just a visual representation that “sparks” are now going to fly with Emma coming into town?
