Does anyone think there is a chance Charming encountered Belle in the Evil Queen’s dungeon? Snow met Grumpy in King George’s cell. Just a thought I had today. She probably had Belle then, although we’re not positive. So they could have been in her prison at the same time.

I just realized all the main characters except Regina have been imprisoned at one point.

1. The character you first fell in love with…
Definitely Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold because of Robert Carlyle. I’ve been a big fan of his since the 90s, and I always expected to him to be a bigger star. I’m very happy that he’s sort of having a career renaissance with Once Upon a Time, so not only does he get a juicy role to showcase his talents but more people will know who he actually is.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now…
I would say probably Henry. At first, I was a little worried that he might be a little too precocious, but by the end of the season, I realized that he’s truly the heart of the show in many ways, and that if they actually killed him off in the finale, which I do they weren’t going to do, but if they did, the show wouldn’t be the same show.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don’t…
I have to agree with the majority so far. I don’t hate Graham, but until his final episode, I thought Jamie Dornan was very pretty to look at but very wooden too. So I don’t really miss his character although I miss the eye candy.

4. The character you love, but everyone else hates…
Definitely Emma and Henry. They don’t get much if any hate here, but it seems like there’s nothing but hate for them elsewhere. Prince Charming would probably be third just because everyone seems to hate David, for good reason, but then that spreads over into hating Prince Charming too.

Oh, I guess this would be mostly in fan fiction, but Maurice. I understand that it’s just fan fiction, but it seems like he’s always written as the worst possible father in the world, when I actually think on the show, he was shown to be a pretty good and loving parent.

5. The character you used to love, but don’t any longer…
I can’t really say because so far I haven’t fallen out of love with anyone that I love yet.

6.  The character you would totallly smooch…
Mmm, this show has so much eye candy, but I guess I’ll go with Rumple/Mr. Gold, but only when he’s not all Dark One looking.

7.  The character you’d want to be like…
Snow White. She’s not as clueless, usually, as they sometimes made Emma. Plus, she’s a great combination of being badass but totally forgiving of her enemies too.

8.  The character you’d like to slap…
If she couldn’t retaliate against me, of course, I’d have to answer Regina. Then, I’d slap Sydney for being Regina’s lap dog. I’d slap Cora too, but I’m not sure if she’s still alive or not to slap. (Well that, and I’m actually more afraid of Cora at this point than Regina.) I sort of want to slap the first Henry too for indulging his daughter so much, but I’m not sure how much abuse that he occurred at Cora’s hands either so for now he gets a pass. Ooh, I guess I’ll have to add Jefferson too because he annoys me because he knows how Regina is, yet he still agrees to works for her. I get the feeling that if she offered him another deal, he would take it again while also trying to work with Rumple now, then get all pouty again when they both screwed him over.

Then, I’d actually slap Rumple for Bae because Rumple used his magic to destroy their world to bring everyone to this world just so that he could be reunited with his son, which is what Bae would absolutely not have wanted his father to do.

Of course, I’d have to slap The Blue Fairy for being a liar or at least being a very good with holder of the truth, and then I guess August because he didn’t come back because of Gepetto, Emma, or the other townspeople, but only because he was about to be turned back into wood.

9.  A pairing that you love…
For the main pairings, I love Rumbelle and Snowing equally. I don’t get why it seems like certain shippers have to hate the other ship, not here, but again it seems to happen a lot at other places for some reason. I think both pairings plus whomever they pair Emma up will all get equal time on the show, so I don’t see the need for fans of either pairing to get nasty with each other.

For the secondary pairings, I love Abigail/Frederick and like Grumpy/Nova.

10.  A pairing that you despise…
Swan Queen would definitely be the ship that I dislike the most. I get why people ship it in theory, but I think for Emma and Regina, it’s not really a love-hate relationship because Regina really does hate Emma and while Emma may not downright hate Regina, the way Regina hates her, there’s no way they could possibly get over what’s occurred for any time of romantic relationship. Even in fan fiction, it still wouldn’t work for me, because it would be basically retconning the whole show and their characters.

The other ship right now would be Mad Swan. Again, I get why it’s popular, and I don’t want to offend anyone that likes it, but I’m just not a fan because I think there’s just too much there for them to get past right now. This probably makes me a hypocrite because if Bae turns out to be Henry’s father, then I’ll expect Emma and Bae to get past their issues to be involved. I guess for me it’s different because they already have a history together and because right now I think they have a lot in common to make a relationship work. Plus, I think that Grace’s mom is still alive, and that Jefferson, mom (Alice maybe?), and Grace will all be reunited eventually on the show, so I’d just rather skip Mad Swan on the show and just get to Jefferson reuniting with his family again.

Rumpelstitskin-he was so crazy and creepy at first but after seeing his backstory I’m totally rooting for him

Rumplestiltskin: never thought I’d be so invested in his happy ending. Things just started to click when we met Gold in Storybrooke and I realized the creeper in the cell was Robert Carlyle!

Regina? Maybe? As much as Evil Regals’ defend her, there has to be more in the Young Snow chronicles to get me to buy her goals/motivation. Having a love’s heart ripped out by your emotionally abusive mother is harsh, but there has to be more to the story…

Henry? Honestly just read a rant about what a horrible child he is, that he should be grateful to have had Regina raise him (even her buying him a video game was used to illustrate what a good parent she was and what a HORRIBLE CHILD Henry is) Apparently, money buys blind love! Also, read some complaints about Jared being a bad actor…

5. The character you used to love, but don’t any longer…
Strangely enough, King Leopold. Maybe not love, but I kind of liked his character for…maybe a second. Wing Wing fan, so seeing Richard Schiff as a king was exciting! And then…he wasn’t a very nice guy. Sure, he wanted everyone within his kingdom to be happy (but Regina). I already admitted to not liking Regina, but I don’t think she deserved being ignored: in the great hall speech scene and when he asked her to marry him (clearly, she wasn’t willing, but mommy was AND HE DIDN’T care). Seems like the character was play-acting the noble king, going on about her beauty and bravery, but really just wanted a female around for when Snow started menstruating……

Archie! Maybe this new character Jack???

7. The character you’d want to be like…
I really admire Abigail and Kathryn. At first she seemed like such a spoiled cliché of a princess, but I really admire her devotion to Fredrick and how her counterpart realized her marriage wasn’t working and had the bravery to attempt to start a new in Boston. If she had only been more ‘hands on’ with retrieving the water to awaken him, she’d be my hero!

Jefferson. STOP WORKING WITH REGINA! There’s only so many times a person can double cross you before things click, like wow! Sidney is at least pathetically in love with her. Jefferson knows she’s horrible, hates her, but goes back to work with her again???

9. A pairing that you love…
Abigail/Fredrick! (Would the pairing name be ‘Golden Knight???’) Snowing and Rumbelle obviously. And Baelfire/Emma for a non-current-canon hopeful…

10. A pairing that you despise…
I don’t really get Golden Swan, but I’m repealed by Swan Queen! As people have already said: they hate each other and will probably be trying to destroy each other from now on! Regina has killed or attempted to kill Emma’s family! Plus, Regina is technically her step-grandmother.

That was fun! Learned a lot about myself and this fandom! 😯

Emma, I think. I liked her a lot in the first episodes. It was easy to identify with her, because I, as a viewer, was new to SB as well.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now…
Rumpelstitskin/Mr. Gold. In the pilot I thought Rumpel was too weird and over-the-top. Then they toned him down a bit.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don’t…
It’s easy. Jefferson/Mad Hatter. Somehow both the character and the actor rub me the wrong way. But I like Mad Hatter more than Jefferson.

4. The character you love, but everyone else hates…
Sydney. He cracks me up sometimes.

I think I don’t like Emma as much as at the beginning.

Rumbelle without a doubt. But I have a feeling that if they give Whale a love interest, I will love it too.

Golden Swan and Mad Swan. Can’t decide which one more. I just don’t see romantic potential when people treat each other as a means for achieving their goals.

August- I liked him but I didn’t love him. However, after the stunt he pulled in the Return, serves him right that he’s now turned back to wood. On a side note, do you think the process of turning back to wood may have speeded up as August told his lies especially the big one where he pretended to be Bae. Weren’t the conditions of him being a real boy that he had to be truthful, brave and selfless or something like that?

Belle though every character has had problems one way or another.

The Blue Fairy and August- August because of what he did in the Return. Blue Fairy because her interference led to Rumple and Bae being separated.

Gold and Emma- He should be with Belle. Also Regina and Emma- They hate each other too much to have a love affair.

I really hope for more scenes with Snow White and Emma. They had such a wonderful relationship in season 1, and I don’t think Belle would be so dark–it would be a shame for her to be out of character.

I wish I could pick one, but I can’t. I’d say that it would be a three-way tie between Rumpelstiltskin, Snow White, and Prince Charming.

2). The character you never expected to love as much as you do now…
This is a tie between Emma Swan and Regina. I normally dom’t like villains, but Regina proved compelling and moving as a character–plus she is vengeful and seems to borders on the edge between sanity and insanity at times. I was at first irritated with Emma, but after rewatching the episodes, I have come to love her character.

3). The character everyone else loves that you don’t…
I guess Maleficent. I did love her in the finale, but she could have been done better.

4). The character you love, but everyone else hates…
I guess Emma–people seem to really hate her, but I love her character.

None. They are all either taken, or not my type. And I don’t do cheating.

I’d go with August. I love that he wanted to make things up, but it took him way too long to get to that point.

I know people are going to hate me, but I can’t chose between Snow White/Prince Charming and Belle/Rumpelstiltskin.

10). A pairing that you despise…Regina/Emma. I know this is growing in popularity, and I don’t mean to offend those that love them, but these two hate each other.

Right, you said that well Lil’Red. That there could be a guy and it just not work out, but not because of some horrible emotional awful break up or because someone cheats or any of those reasons, just have it not work out because it isn’t right for them. Because that does happen and that would stop the need for that part of Emma’s story, if there is a love triangle, to be like some crazy over dramatic situation. I just think that whomever Emma’s first love interest in the show is, i just wouldn’t get attached to him.

Snow had to be pregnant before Cinderella in order for Emma to be born whilst Cinderella was still pregnant in Storybrooke. Perhaps that was one of the reasons Charming wanted Rumple locked up. He was after Cinderella’s baby because of a deal but it could have quite easily been Snow’s baby. It would explain why Charming was so edgy about going to see Rumple in the mine and why he tried to lie to him about Snow’s baby being a boy.

As for the timing of when Belle left the castle, it difficult to pinpoint because there are still chunks of story missing but I think it might be around one and a half to two years between Belle leaving and the curse being cast:
Regina was in her evil stage and doing what she wanted so she must have met Belle after she’d enslaved the huntsman.
Snow met Red in the winter in Red Handed. Belle was at Rumple’s castle in the winter and she opened the curtains when it was nearly spring.
In 7:15 AM, Snow meets Grumpy for the first time, Rumple meets Snow for the first time. Snow is living in the forest and can’t get Charming out of her head.
Belle met Grumpy In Dreamy after Rumple kicked her out.
When Charming jumps in front of Snow’s arrow in heart of darkness, Regina is on her way to her summer palace and it is snowing which could indicate that it is winter again so that is possibly at least a year between Belle opening the curtains and Snow trying to kill the queen.

It seems spring/summer time when Regina tells Rumple Belle is dead. She would have needed to have given it time for Belle to realistically made it home. Rumple tells Charming Belle died in land without magic. Charming goes to find Snow. It’s snowing but there’s a lot of green so maybe winter/spring time. They took back the kingdom so add a month in there plus nine months for Snows pregnancy.
