[adrotate group="5"]Honestly, I loved the finale but it was ehh. It wasn’t what I thought it would be and I expected a lot more. But I still loved it.
Liked:
– Henry. All things Henry!!!!!!!
– Evil Queen Snow White. She was ruthless and fabulous! Although, I must say she was significantly more evil than regina was as the queen. Or maybe that’s just me. Either way, I loved it!
– The scene with Isaac at the book signing! #NoSpoilers lol!!!!!!!
– Believe it or not, I actually liked Hook this episode. In the AU. He was much…more. But then we got back to reality.
– The dark…goo…thing. It looked amazing! Plus I love how we FINALLY got to hear the origin of the dark one.
– The reason why Maleficent doesn’t know her baby daddy. I am sorry, but that is just hilarious.
– Dark Granny. I would have loved to see what the story was on that. Im guessing shes an evil werewolf who ate her granddaughter 😛MIXED:
– Apprentice dying. Idk why this effects me so. I barely gave him a second thought but now that he is dead…I feel kind of iffy about him.
– Rumpel in coma. Idk how I feel about it.DISLIKED:
– No, Henry. Hook did not teach you to sail. Neal did. Hook taught you the thing with the sextant. Whatever that was.
– The villains didn’t get happy endings. The heroes just became evil, and not even all of them. This is NOT what they were saying would happen! They said villains would WIN not Villains would become heroes!
– Queens of Darkness were absent from the finale. I would have loved to see them during this AU.
– WE DIDNT SEE THE SORCERER! THEY SAID WE WOULD SEE THE SORCERER!!!! WHY MUST THEY TOY WITH ME!!!!!???
– MERLIN is the sorcerer. Nothing against the wizard himself, but I felt it was SO predictable that it would be Merlin and thus hoped A&E woul go a different route. But nope. Merlin is our sorcerer. I accept it and im still excited for it, but its not what I would have preferred.

the still devoted Hookers are still having as much fun with him as they want. I mean, who needs plot relevance? Or character development? He is a pirate who is in love with the main character and she is also in love with him…because reasons(???) so that’s all they need.
You’d think NL would have been Hooks time to shine (and this isn’t a knock at the character at all, its just logic) because he is the VILLAIN OF PETER PAN!!! Its the same issue I had with Ariel and Ursula not interacting. Hook and Pan, sure they had one episode and some small scenes, but their history together is only talked about, we never saw it (beyond their first encounter) nor do I think we ever will, Hook should have been front and center in the NL arc and instead we got the love triangle for him. Sheesh.
Its like having snow white with no evil queen. Like oz with no Dorothy. Like bacon with no syrup (its delicious so hush your faces v_v). Hook should have been given way more than he was in that arc. Or better yet, he was given enough in that arc, just the wrong material. I’d have preferred Pan vs Hook/Rumpel/Bae rather than Hook <3 Emma for S3 but ehh, what can ya do.In other news, I got to add the show Merlin to my list. Well its already on my list but I got to get to it. Is it a good adaption of Arthuian legend and such? Or is it just a prequel. Im watching it to get caught up on my merlin mythos before S5 starts so I can atleast formulate some kind of good theories. Like Alice in WL, King Arthur and those folks were just one of the tales I couldn’t get into. So yeah, I’ll have to get to that >>

Seeing the famous diner we’ve always heard about. The one where all the fairytale characters who leave Storybrooke get sent. That poor waitress, as soon as she met Henry and he started spewing fairytale stuff at her, she was like, “We have another one.” Code whatever color they use to call the police.
I liked seeing Henry have a bigger role this time around.
Seeing Killian “meet” Emma for the first time and him fall in love with her at first sight.
Emma teaching Killian how to use a sword.
Seeing Snow being the Evil Queen. Ginny rocked that red outfit, even the spiky hair and omg, her ruthlessness, everything about her performance was just really fun to watch. I loved when she gathered the dwarves and Granny and asked, who’s fault it was that Regina got away. If you’ve ever played the role playing game ‘Aye, Dark Overlord!’ What Grumpy and the dwarves were doing, blaming each other just to save themselves, that’s basically the premise of ‘Aye, Dark Overlord!’
Regina and Robin being bandit rivals was interesting.
Emma admitting twice that she loves Killian. Everything about CS’s relationship has been a slow burn, but an ‘I love you’ was seriously a long time coming.
We’re finally going to Camelot. It’s no longer just a random plot device, we’re actually going to go there.
Disliked:
Rumple being handed his white heart without having earned it. I’ll probably write a lengthier rant about this later, but most other villains on this show had to earn their redemption. It’s a much longer process but it isn’t just given to them and Rumple just given his goodness back without having truly earned it, makes me sick. Because that’s not how it is. My only hope going forward is after he wakes up from this coma, he tries to genuinely earn what was given to him and atone for all the crap he’s done.
All the Rumbelle stuff, in general. AU and in Storybrooke. How come Belle seriously still love Rumple and give him a second chance after all the stuff he’s done this season? We had a brief moment where she started to rip into them and I truly enjoyed that moment but it was interrupted by Rumple dying. Rumple does not deserve a happy ending, he doesn’t deserve Belle.
Rumple in the AU. For someone who’s lived 300 years, he really has no idea what it means to be a hero. Or maybe Isaac, doesn’t. I don’t know. I did however think it was very pointless for Rumple to go around in a horse wearing so much armor when he didn’t even need it because guess what? He has light magic. Armor isn’t necessary. So ridiculous.

what is his importance and what does he bring to the show besides being Emma’s lover boy?
Occasionally reminds us how much Rumple sucks by bullying him whenever the opportunity presents itself? Oh, and looks pretty.

I am disgusted. They should have let the apprentice live. And how did he even die? The Darkness went him, and Emma pushed it out…. Then dies??? Did It suck away all his light? If so, why didn’t Regina die? And just as a nitpick, dude could have told them where to find Merlin. IJS.

I do hope Emma poofed to Camelot, because I think she needs to meet Morgana ASAP. Honestly, if this whole Dark Swan plot comes and goes without the presence of Morgana le Fay, I’m going to see it as a gigantic missed opportunity. And not just because it’d be nice to finally get the Black Fairy and if it’s not her I fear we’re running out of options.
Morgana’s traditional backstory (with obvious variations over time) is that she was only a child when Uther started to desire her mother & waged war on her father to get Igraine. Because of Uther and Merlin, Morgana’s father was killed, her mother raped, and her family torn apart (in Malory, at the least, Morgana is one of three, and when Uther marries Igraine he marries her elder sisters off to other kings for alliances and she’s sent to a nunnery). Fact of the matter is, if the legends were about Morgana and her enemy was Uther, not Arthur, she’d very much be the hero. It’s a classic hero narrative. But she goes after blameless (for his conception at the least) Arthur, instead, so she’s a villain.
If they were to give Morgana anything resembling her classic backstory, she’d be extremely sympathetic in a certain light, and especially if they include Mordred as well and make her a mother, I feel like there’d be a genuine kinship of sorts between Dark Emma and Morgana that would be wonderful.

Here’s the thing: nothing. I don’t mean that as a hatred, I think it’s just a standard fact at this point. The problem is that you could do a total reversal of what happened to us that made us rather bitter and angry, but the result would be that the other side (the CSers and even to an extent the SQers) would be angry that claim that the show was going down hill. This is why you don’t play to your fandom. This is why you stick to your original guns and not deviate based on what is “hot”
TRUTH!!! Just Truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the saddest thing is…Henry got screwed over the most out of this entire situation! He finally had a dad, a wonderful male role model that he could look up to who was a hero and one of the realest characters on the show!
Hook’s relevance in the show…what is it besides being with Emma? I mean even Robin Hood now has a storyline besides just being with Regina, he’s got to deal with the Wicked Witch of the West being his baby mama! After NL Arc, I just never saw Hook’s importance anymore, I thought he was just gonna go sail the seven seas with his pirates or even with Tinkerbelle, boy was I wrong! He has become exactly what Regina said…The Charmings Pirate Mascot, someone whose only there when either PLOT or EMMA. With Neal, he had a storyline being Henry’s father, being the Dark One’s Son, and being Emma’s baby daddy. Not bashing Hook’s character or anything….just wondering…what is his importance and what does he bring to the show besides being Emma’s lover boy?

The thing about this is that if they find magic mumbo jumbo and resurrect Neal after having DO Emma kill Hook earlier,that would cause everyone to ask “Well why didn’t she resurrect Hook too?” And if she does resurrect him then BOOM. Another love triangle of doom and the fandom will be bickering all over again.
