ParticipantThe way Regina looks at Mary right after “Apology not accepted,” GAVE ME A CHILL RIGHT TO THE VERY CORE OF MY SOUL! 😈
Ginny was knocking that scene outta the park too, but Lana was just…let’s just say that I feel that the only way I could properly express my reaction to this scene would be to string together a bunch of words that the forum censor wouldn’t appreciate. 😉

ParticipantThat’s an excellent point!

ParticipantThanks sjm. 🙂
Can’t believe no one’s called August being Pinocchio yet. LOL I’ll take it if no one else wants it.

Does anyone else think that door 16 looks like a modern door? Like it could be the door/entrance to a modern day house? Like it has transom windows on the side and along the top? I wonder if that could be the entry way to SB.
Yep I mentioned that in another thread somewhere around here. Looks very our world-y as opposed to other world-y.

Besides FairyTale land and Oz, what other lands are there? Abigail referred to her father’s kingdom as a realm but that was still within FT land.
That’s the frillion dollar question, what places actually qualify as a whole separate world you’ve gotta travel to via hat? So far we know that FTL encompases Fairytales (duh), mythical Greece (Midas) and the Middle East, (Agrabah). So it seems that stories that merely have a different culture would all still be in FTL if they continue along that line. If a story has a protagonist that leaves their own world in order for the story to happen, that’d surely qualify as being a whole separate land. Alice went to Wonderland, Dorothy went to Oz, the Darling kids went to Neverland, the Pevensies went to Narnia. But are there enough stories like that that could generate that whole room full of doors? So maybe they won’t have such hard and fast rules as to what qualifies as a separate land?

ParticipantAfter seeing the screencaps from the other ep too I’m more confident it’s just a trick of the light. In the first shot of EQ it looks like some of them don’t even have badges on them, just looks like a black spot, but in the second shot you can see a couple of those same boxes and they DO indeed have the badges, it’s just that in the other shot they were in shadow. They need to get them some less reflective props.

ts an interesting hypothesis that Emma is an Alice type character. Perhaps stregnthend by the fact that she came across the mad hatter, had a tea party, and like u said “fell through the rabbit hole”. but I think someone mentioned that there was a picture of Alice in henry’s book. I’d like too see a screen shot of that since that would give us concrete evidenceother she had at least 1 journey into wonderland at what ever age she is in the book. And then we can speculate from there probably better.
It’s a direct copy of an illustration from the original book, so that suggests to me that similar events happened in the Once version of Alice’s story.Phee
ParticipantIMO he needed Regina to enact the curse to remove everyone from the magical world, then he wants the final curse broken so he could be free of his own personal curse, strip Regina of her power as well, and put an end to all magic.

ParticipantThere’s something I think I wanna call, but I’m not entirely sure, but maybe I should just put it out there just in case. 😆 It’s probably gonna seem REALLY random and it’ll most likely end up being wrong, but I can’t get it out of my head now that the idea is in there. It’s (very loosely) based on some kinda spoilery info though (a guest star and an ep title), so I’ll put it in the tags.
Grace's mother will be Aurora.
PS. Posted my reasoning in this thread in the spoiler section: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=460&p=3595Phee
ParticipantWish we knew for sure which two eps he’s gonna be in. I’ve come up with a crackpot theory based on really not much at all, but depending on which eps he’s in, there might be half a chance I could possibly be onto something…maybe. LOL Will be keeping my eyes peeled for the guest star credits for the last eps.
Edited to add that I caved and posted it in the “call” thread. In case anyone sees it there and wonders where on earth I got the ridiculous idea that Grace’s mother will be Aurora….
When I was re-watching the scene with Jefferson mentioning Grace’s mother, I got to wondering who she could be and if they maybe dropped any hints in this ep. Then I noticed the doll that Regina’s holding up very deliberately so we see it clearly when she’s all, “was it because of your sweet daughter?” It’s blonde with a pink dress with white sleeves, and has one of those cone hats on, so she’s obviously a princess doll.
So I wondered if Grace’s mother was lost (note: he never says the word “died”, that may be significant, or maybe it’s not) when she was a baby, (she didn’t know her father had known the Queen, so chances are she was a baby when Jefferson gave up the good life and ceased associating with Regina), maybe Jefferson made this doll in her mother’s image.
So I googled Disney princesses and there was Aurora with her blonde hair, wearing a pink dress. The sleeves are pale pink, not white, but it didn’t look that different to the doll.
Jefferson is back for two more eps.
Ep 21 is titled Apple Red as Blood, and I was wondering recently if we may see Maleficent again in that ep, because that’s where Regina got the sleeping curse for the apple.
So if Maleficent could potentially be in an ep, and Jefferson could potentially be in the same ep, and we’ll hopefully see more of his backstory, and the doll kinda looks Aurora-ish….maybe that’s who Grace’s mother was. It’ll probably be wrong, but hey, ya never know right. When I was googling for anything Once related that mentioned Aurora, I found this: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/once-upon-a-time-can-you-spot-the-future-characters.html
Which has Kitsis saying, “Aurora would be interesting. We definitely saw Maleficent, but we purposely didn’t see Aurora.” And in the next paragraph, “We try, when we get an idea, to seed it in and pay if off later.” Kitsis agrees. “We definitely have little things planted that haven’t fully been noticed yet. When people go back, they’ll go ‘oh!'” So reading that, I thought I may as well throw my crazy theory out there, just in case.Phee
